I've included this brand in my natural soap options for several years, since Chemist Warehouse opened here. The natural ingredients appealed initially, as did the price point (especially when CW have a super sale on, as they do currently).
The Original Soap is a gentle, simple soap, formulated with a PH that's closest to your skin. It contains sweet almond oil and pure Goat's milk. The other soaps in the range appeal, including Oatmeal, Lavender, Lemon Myrtle, Argan Oil, Coconut Oil. and Manuka Honey.
All lovely, nearly all-natural ingredients, with one exception; they all contain 'parfum', which raises concerns that it may not be natural. I think more transparency is needed here.
For this reason, I'm now only buying EcoStore and Earthwise soaps, which I have more confidence in.
At 100g per bar, it is a generous size, compared to EcoStore and Earthwise soaps. The packing doesn't win and enviro awards, though as the bars are all individually wrapped in plastic, and the plastic-wrapped soaps in the six-bar box are housed in a large plastic try, which is protected in a card box, with a large plastic window.
This is a god send! I have very very severe eczema, psoriasis - this product makes you feel clean with out all the nastys. Goat milk is the best solution for sensitive skin like me. For years I’ve struggled to find a product that works well for me and this just eliminates mine.
