Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel Review

This, could possibly be the most hyped up product when it comes to Lush. Its a big call, but i think i am right, because i have heard about the product alot. When i first heard about lush, i was introduced to this product, but i never brought it because, its only a body wash. Like i need to spend $22 on a body wash.

Well, it seems like since that original thought, my self-resistance has weakened even more if that was possible. When Mid-winter July came around, i snapped this up in a heart beat, and let me tell you. It did not dissapoint.

This body wash comes in a plastic bottle, with a black lid. The lid only has a small hole, so only a little bit of the product is released at a time. Clearly a good thing considering the price.

The clear bottle lets you see the pretty pink liquid in side, which is flecked with little pieces of glitter. Sigh* So pretty. The consistency of this is.. hard to describe. I would consider quite thick for a body wash, and would maybe compare it the consistency of honey? Maybe even thicker.

And the smell.. Wowzers. It smells like candyfloss, sweet treat, happiness and unicorns.. okay well i don't know about that last two, but its smells amazing. Its sweet, and i find it really uplifting because i love a sweet sugary smell. This smell also lingers on the skin so double bonus. It lathers really well, and cleans skin without stripping it.

This is my special shower gel, its way to nice to use everyday, especially when i can't get my hands on this again till xmas. If it was more affordable, i would use this and nothing else. But it is pricey (the only con about this product), but a nice treat in the shower or bath.

I am so in love with this product. I went into Lush to check out the winter limited edition products and fell in love with the smell of Snow Fairy. It's so sweet and sugary I leave the shower smelling like bubblegum and I already dread my bottle running out. It's a bright bubblegum pink gel with glitter in it and it leaves your skin feeling soft and smelling strongly of sugary goodness.

I've heard so much about this Lush favourite but being such a highly sought-after Limited Edition product I could never get my hands on it. I finally managed to snag a bottle during Lush's Christmas in July to test it out for myself.

The packaging is the standard simplistic Lush clear bottle with printed label marked with use by date (yes it does expire!). Luckily it has quite a long shelf-life so I wouldn't expect it to, if you're anything like me this will be gone well before it expires.

The thick gel is a girly bubblegum pink sprinkled with glitter. This is a sweet-tooth's delight, smelling strongly of candyfloss and bubblegum, just like Lush's lip scrub! The scent is very long-lasting as well and after showering with a squirt of this I can smell it lingering in the bathroom long after.

This is a tad on the sweeter side for me to use every day but something I like for when I'm wanting to feel particularly girly, as a pick me up or when I want to be pampered. I think this would make the perfect gift as well for younger girls who I'm sure will go crazy over the fragrance. I know I'll be buying a couple more bottles at the end of the year and highly recommend you do too!

My lush addiction started after Christmas so I had heard lots and lots about this shower gel but couldn't try it because it was limited edition. Until up popped the mid winter limited edition release, oh the excitement waiting for this to arrive it actually felt like waiting for Christmas as a kid.

My very first order from lush included the godmother soap and I swear this shower gel and the godmother soap are identical in scent, it's ridiculously good it's sweet like cherries and candy floss, It is like a big sweet lolly shop in a bottle.

The bottle is clear and the same as the other Lush products but the label is white, pink and yellow, much different to the standard black label.

The pretty pink shower gel has blue lustre in it making it even more special not only does it smell so good it also looks so pretty. It lathers up quite a bit, it feels moisturising on my skin and doesn't dry it out. The scent lasts for only a couple of hours, I really wished it would last longer only because it smells so good. I now know why everyone raves about this shower gel and I too love it and will buy it every time it is released.

I love love love this body wash! I had been lusting over this for ages and finally someone gifted it to me for Christmas. The packaging is your usual lush packaging so I'm not going to talk to much about that.

The scent is seriously divine, it's like sweet candyfloss and shares the same scent as the Godmother soap. So if you love Godmother you will love this, it's also great because since Snow Fairy is limited edition you can still get the scent somewhere else!

The scent actually stays on my skin for most of the day which is unusual for normal body washes. With other body washes the smell fades soon after I get out of the shower! This adds a decent amount of moisture into my skin but not alot. I never saw any sparkles on my skin or anything like that though.

I would definitely recommend this product and can't wait until it's out again so I can stock up! It's just such an amazing yummy scent, can't express my love for it enough! GO TRY THIS :D The price is worth it and it lasts for aages too.

This is the sweetest and sugariest (if that's a word) shower gel I've ever used. It makes me feel like the most serious of girly-girls.

The gel lathers really nicely - a little really does go a long way with this product. It smells great, and the scent lingers on your skin after you get out of the shower. The only disappointment is that the glitter clumps at the bottom of the bottle, and despite some dedicated shaking, it doesn't move back into the shower gel.

A small bottle has lasted me a month so far, and will probably last another two weeks. This makes the price a little less horrifying, as it will last for a while.

I absolutely love Lush shower gels. I tend to stock up during their sales by purchasing a few of the gift boxes, so I usually get the shower gels in 100ml sizes. Lush products in general can be a little expensive, but I feel like the shower gels are great value for money and come in such a great range of scents. Since you only need a little bit to get a good amount of lathering and to experience the scent, they last a reasonable amount of time.

I love the scent of Snow Fairy - I also use the Bubblegum lipscrub which has a similar sweet scent, and I have the soap ready to try. Sometimes it can feel a little overwhelming in the shower gel formula (I think it’s the pear notes), but if you enjoy sugary scents then this is perfect. I tended to use it every second day or so, as it’s quite strong and indulgent. It’s not overly creamy and moisturiser is still needed afterwards like with most shower gels, so it’s selling point is really the scent - I’d definitely try a sample or pick up the 100ml bottle to begin with.

The only disappointment came with the sparkle - I could see it in the bottle, but it all sunk to the bottom and I never actually saw it on my skin. Maybe this happened because I used the shower gel after it’s best before date (I had lots of other products to use up first!), but it was a bit of a let down since it looked so pretty in the bottle. I would definitely repurchase, although I’d probably pick up the 100ml bottle again as I love trying a range of shower gels.

Love love love snow fairy! Not too keen on the price but if you're sneaky and go on boxing day, 50% off all christmas stock!! I love using this with my exfoliating glove and makes me smell amazing! dont't know whether to use it sparingly over the year or just go crazy! Boyfriend loves it too which is a plus

Yearly i bulk buy this shower gel, and ration it throughout the year, its so sweet smelling and lathers extremely well, I found that it was also amazing how something so beautifully smelling was made out of cruelty free products which is always a bonus!! My absolute favourite body wash! The downside is that it's only available at christmas time and mid year christmas which you have to be lucky to catch, and if you have a partner like mine he will try to be all sneaky and use it too! I always get complements on how great it smells ! Definitely not one to miss !

I bought my first bottle of this a couple of years ago and ever since that I've bought a bottle (or 10) every time it gets put out on the shelves. I love the scent and the colour but most of all I like how it doesn't dry out my skin. I'm recommend it to anyone who loves a good smelling body wash but that fact that it's a natural lush product is a huge bonus!
