Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel Review

Ah Snow Fairy, you should be called The Bubblegum Fairy.

The Snow Fairy shower gel is a bubblegum, vanilla and candyfloss scented shower gel. Personally I find it smells like bubblegum and general sweetness.

In terms of performance, it performs like a standard shower gel and leaves the skin with a slight snow fairy fragrance.

The shower gel is a hot pearly pink and packaged in a recyclable "non-vigin" plastic bottle. And I like how it says on the bottle about recycling bottle tops at your local lush store. Which also matches up nicely with the Lush ideals on the enviroment.

All in all it's a lovely girly shower gel. And I love the smell. I just wish it were a little cheaper.

This is one of my most fave lush products (OK I haven't tried a massive amount before though). It is a deliciously sweet, pink concoction that makes me feel fabulously girly. I think it's a product that you will either love or hate. If you don't like sweet smelling things, you won't like this at all. I personally think, the sweeter the better and it's as if lush designed this based on my love of sweet. This is described as smelling like cotton candy and it definitely smells like that. I'm also reminded a bit of childhood medicine, which I suppose is odd but I still like it.

I have the largest bottle at the moment, I've used up two small bottles before. I think the prices are reasonable. It's not supermarket cheap but $35 for a 500ml bottle that will last a long time as you don't need to use a lot, is a good deal to me. The packaging is basic but I like that you can see through the bottle into this sparkly pink mix. It also has a sticker on it saying the exact date it was made, an exact use by date and who was the person that made it.

This lathers really well and makes me feel clean and smelling good. The scent makes my bathroom smell so good and lingers on my skin for a little bit after i get out of the shower.

The only downside i can think of, is that it's a limited edition product. It is only sold twice a year but thankfully they do keep bringing it out every year.

I'd definitely recommend at least sniffing this at a lush shop, it's lovely but not for everyone!

This is another of Lush's limited editions! This one comes out twice a year for Christmas and also the mid year Christmas that Lush celebrates in this part of the world. Everyone always raves about this one. I always give it a sniff in the shop and think "nope, not for me" There has been much excitement about this on the forum as it has come back into the shops again so I decided to give it a go. As I was still finding it's sweet smell a little overwhelming for me, I picked up a generous sample from my local Lush. The full sizes come in the usual Lush shower gel packaging: a clear round bottle, with a black and white label that has a use by sticker telling you who made it, and a black flip top lid. It is available in three different sizes.

This is bright, girly pink - I didn't notice any lustre or shimmer in the sample I received although apparently it's in there. Lush describe it as smelling of bubble gum, vanilla and cotton candy and I think this is very accurate. It is very heavy on the candy smell to me, which lingers after you have showered. I used it in conjunction with Ro's Argan body conditioner, which toned the sweetness down.

I won't be purchasing this as I just find the smell too sweet. It does the job as far as being a shower gel goes and leaves my skin feeling nice but I think I would get sick of it after a few uses. Funnily enough, I love the Lush Candy Mountain bubble bar which is essentially the same smell but you only get a couple of uses out of it. If you love sweet candy smells though, you will definitely love this. I will stick to Rose Jam and leave this one in the shop for all the people who want to stockpile it for the year (sort it out, Lush!)

I have heard people rave about this product and have always found it a hard product to find because it is seasonal.

But I came across a bottle of this in America and HAD to see what all the fuss was about. I walked into the store and knew I had found it once I saw how gorgeous it was!

First of all, the smell! If that isn't enough to have you hooked I don't know what is. It smells like Christmas in a bottle. Very sweet, it is described like candy floss & bubble gum.

It lathers on nicely and makes your skin feel amazing once washed off. It does have a bit of glitter in it as well, but I love myself a bit of sparkle!

Love this product, get in quick for Christmas :D

Snow fairy has always reminded me of Farmers_wife, she told me how she loved it so much that she uses it for handwash in her home. She even had a pic of her amazing Snow fairy backups, I was intrigued and needed to see why she loved it so much. It only comes in store or online at certain times so you cant just go into the store and purchase some. The last few times its always been sold out until I went in a month or so ago when the Christmas collection was released.

They are even prettier in person. And the blue fairy dust just glistened in the sunlight, I couldn't wait to take this home to try, it was so pretty!

As soon as you open the lids, a beautiful song comes out, it smells DIVINE! If divine had a scent, this would be it! It smells of Candy floss mixed with Strawberries, the sweetness is so overbearing but so good! A small amount goes a long way, but it is hard not to squeeze too much as it looks and smells beautiful.

The scent lasts while you get out of the shower and dies down to a light scent of candy.

For the price it is a little expensive for my budget, I will definitely be repurchasing this when I can, I use this every few days just to make my bottle last longer.

Having only recently purchased this I was straight into using it immediately! I have used it every night since and I have just placed another order to buy two more bottles! That smell... Heavenly!!

The first bottle I bought was a mere 100ml to try it out, but I have another shipment coming this week hopefully (two larger bottles) and I may (if a Christmas pack takes my fancy) buy more.

The shower gel is a pretty pink thick shower gel with blue shimmery sparkles through it. It smells like raspberry jelly and candyfloss. My only wish (and reason I haven't given it a perfect score) is that the blue shimmer doesn't stay around and the scent fades soon after leaving the shower.

I have admitted to my husband that I now have a Lush addiction and now he understands (or that's what he tells me). Why must this be limited edition? It reminds me of sweet childhood memories, and gorgeous bath products I had back then. It doesn't lather as much as other shower gels but that doesn't worry me in the slightest.

I got a little bottle of this for a birthday and OMG it's gorgeous!! I'll have to buy more when Christmas comes around because I absolutely adore this scent and I wish it was an all year round product! The scent lingers on your skin throughout the day and it smells lovely and sweet. It's bright pink - ma fave color! - and it's a bit glittery but not to the point where it's ridiculous or anything. I need 10!

I have always heard about the amazing 'Snow Fairy' but always miss our as it sells out super quick! Silly limited editions, why do you do this to us! I manage to get my hands on it during a mid-year winter release and I am so happy that I did!

The scent is amazing similar to candy floss, the product itself is pink with glitter in it (but don't worry, you don't jump out of the shower looking like a Christmas decoration!) and a little goes a long way! It really lathers up nicely and I love the feeling it gives to my skin once I am out of the shower I feel very smooth and soft! I am very slowly using this product as I want to ensure that it will last me to Christmas and I can get my hand on another one!

Remember when you were 5 and you had a big bottle of cheap bubble bath?

Well... this product is the opposite of cheap bubble bath! This is a product from Lush filled with organic ingredients, so don't let the pink colouring put you off too much.

I wouldn't spend this amount of money on a body gel but was lucky enough to try it at my sister's house. To be honest it didn't do anything for me. It was like a normal shower gel that smelled sweet. The thing I liked most about this product was that it gave me a flash back memory and had the word fairy in it.

OMG I love this product! It smells absolutely delicious and feels so lovely on my skin. I was bought this for a present off some friends for Christmas and now I buy it every year! I love anything with a bit of sparkle, so it really is the product for me. The only thing id say is that it doesn't put sparkle on your skin, its just in the bottle, but i'm sure my fiance doesn't mind that!!hehe!!
