I got this in a haul a couple of months ago and have only just gotten around to cracking it open.
I'm in love, Blue is one of my favourite colours and to soap up each morning with this really makes me smile. It's a glycerin type soap and to me it seems to have lasted way longer than the other soaps I purchased so I'm happy to have paid the price I paid vs how long it's lasted for.
The scent is something else - the description didn't 100% appeal to me but I love it! I can't pick the spearmint but can really smell the other listed ingredients. AND it doesn't contain palm oil - YAY!
The only slight downside is that this is definitely a fragrance that needs to be layered. Although it's noticeable in the shower, once you're out and dry you can no longer smell it.
Lush's Dirty Soap was given to me with a group of soaps ages ago. But it's a product that I've been struggling to decide what I really thought of it.
My first impression of the soap was blueness. I was reminded of water; Bex calls it a blue lagoon and I think that describes it perfectly.
As a scent, it is more gender neutral, being neither fruity or floral and there is a minty tone to it. But I also felt like the scent somehow created this empty lagoon/ocean feel. But I'm not quite sure how it achieved that. It is possibly the oakmoss and pine, creating the scent. Something about the soap just feels outdoorsy.
As a soap, it was pleasant to use and nice and gentle on the skin.
It wouldn't be my personal pick, but I think it's a great gift soap because it is more neutral. I also like the it is palm oil free.
