MOR Marshmallow Body Oil Review

Mor marshmellow is the best! So yummy ,such a treat of an oil. Long lasting scent. Thanks for reminding me that I need another bottle of this ♡♡

Easily my favourite flavour of the MOR range.

It's sweet and reminds me of those pink musk sticks, the scent does lighten up during the day, to maintain this I use the body oil alongside the body wash, body butter and perfume...all marshmallow.

The oil itself is quite smooth and does absorb into the skin well, especially after a hot shower. It softens those pesky areas, elbows, knees. I also use it on my heels and a little through my hair, for a more all over scent.

It is super handy coming in a spray bottle, rather than a dropper, so application is easy. Use it sparingly however as you only need a little amount, just like all body oils/serums.

This MOR scent is probably going to be a like for you if you enjoy the smell of roses. Initially you get fairly strong fume of roses then yes there is a marshmallow scent that develops more as the rose settles then a slightly smokey scent like musk but it's not offensive as it's very slight like toasted. I think this is a scent that is nice for bed time comfort and rose scent lovers. The oil is nice for massage and hydration and especially for layering with the perfume, lotion, soap etc. Surprisingly lasted fairly well when applied though siliage is not very strong. I would try this as a hair oil too. Like the avocado oil and grape seed in it and no parabens. Wonder if even you could try a wee bit on your face if you had try skin or as a primer / serum.

I started my obsession with MOR marshmallow when a colleague was wearing the perfume and she walked past me, I chased her down and like a crazy woman and asked her what she was wearing, it was so enticing! I apply this oil before bed to my chest and neck so I can sleep in a beautiful cloud of deliciousness. My whole life I have been adverse to musk, he has repulsed me but this has changed my whole view! It reminds me of pink smoker lollies from childhood. Delicious. This oil glides on effortlessly and absorbs quickly and there is no greasy residue. I have repurchased this often.

My biggest mistake is using this like a perfume- it's is too oily for this and it leaves marks on clothes and surfaces (Like bathroom floor) can become slippery. Even the carpet can get a little slip happening when I go overboard spritzing my body. I think possibly a better way of application could be thought of, not sure what but something.

I like that it lasts for ages on my body. I can apply it in the morning and still smell it at night. I also layer it with the roll on perfum oil which helps to extend the fragrance to last longer.

Marshmallow is the warmest, sweetest smell, like lollies. I cannot fault the scent and I think everyone should own it.

I do however find it a little heavy on my décolletage in the warmer months as I can get a few little pimples in that area. It's great for arms and elbows with drier skin.

I have to hand it to MOR that their packaging always looks amazing.

This product is fast becoming the signature scent of the women of Oamaru. It's preferred because it is not only incredible smelling and long lasting, but it moisturisers your skin and adds a sparkle to your skin when applied. Unlike many body oils, it sprays on and then you rub it into your skin. It comes in a large glass bottle and is packaged in a beautiful floral box.

The packaging of this product. Gorgeous. And like most MOR products, that is the reason I purchased this little beauty. It comes in a beautiful pink box, which is adorned with flowers and gold etching. The box also has the Mor Logo in gold, and just looks picture perfect!

The beauty of the box isn’t exactly reflected in the product itself which comes in a rectangle shaped glass bottle, with a gold lid, also with the MOR label in gold on it’s otherwise plain glass surface .No pink or flower here, but the design is Simple, but so elegant and classy and it just looks so expensive sitting on my dresser. Plus, because the bottle is made from glass, the bottle is pretty heavy.

This product is body oil. This was actually the first time I had heard of an oil specifically made for the body. Yes I know coconut oil and olive oil can be used, but iv never used a product specifically produced for that purpose which was another reason I was intrigued by this product, which is a light golden colour, and the consistency of a thin oil.

The application of this product is a breeze. The bottle dispenses the product like a perfume, and sprays out a fine mist. Which sounds messy, but it really isn’t. The amount the bottle sprays is sprayed really evenly, and this means a few sprays is enough for a light coverage over your skin. Being a light coverage, this means the oil absorbs really fast, so no fear of leaving greasy trails over everything you touch. Additionally, its leaves my skin feeling really hydrated, and soft to touch. Plus because its an oil, the hydrating effects last until I have my next shower.

Being a MOR product, and a Marshmallow product, I suppose you’re wondering how it smells. Well, honestly, it smells like all the other Marshmallow MOR Products. It’s very sweet, and smells like candy. At first, I did find this oil a little bit too sweet, but I have actually grown to really love it.

This product is a pricey for a MOR product, but I would buy it again for several reasons. A little bit of this product goes a long way, so the bottle lasts a long time. It moisturizes my skin, and is quick to apply and absorbs quickly as well. And lastly, it smells yummy and makes me feel good when I need a pick-me up!
