My husband was given the Juniper Berry & White Thyme oil to help soothe his eczema, but I couldn't resist using it for myself! I've been using it on my back as I have a bit of acne and scarring and it has been so calming. It soaks into the skin quickly and leaves it feeling moisturised, rather than greasy. It's a lovely natural product and doubles as a bath oil. A little bit goes a long way with this product, so it lasts for ages! I'd definitely recommend this product for any skin ailments, or just for some pampering!

Reviews
I love essential oils, so naturally am a big fan of The Aromatherapy Co. products, and their Body and Bath OIl is definately a winner.
I have this in Rose, Patchouli and Ylang Ylang, and Wild Mint and Bergamont. Both scents are heavenly, having just the strength to intoxicate the senses without overpowering them like some essential oils can do.
The packaging is simpistic, letting the product speak for itself. I like that the bath oils come in a spray bottle, I find it makes it easier to deliver the amount of oil you like without spilling it everywhere - which I've done when using a pour bottle before!
I've used this a few ways: - As a massage oil, spraying in directly onto skin. This works well for this and leaves the skin feeling soft and moisturised as opposed to heavy with oil - no need to wipe it off after! - I pour a few squirts of this directly into a hot bath, the aroma is really relaxing and afterwards my skin feels softer, perfect when you're wanting a pamper session. - Sprayed directly on the skin as a body oil, it doesn't absorb easily so I prefer to do this before bed instead of during the day but I like how silky it makes my legs feel. I do like the spray top for this as I find it allows me to use a bit at a time so I don't end up wasting product.
I am completely sold on these oils and will continue to purchase them as I find them an easy way to inject a touch of luxury into my day, and coming up to Christmas I'll definately be recommending them to others!
I have tried four of these, Rose, Cocoa, Mint and Lime (shortening for ease) and they are all AMAZING!
I think perhaps they are a little on the expensive side but I was lucky enough to find them all on the clearance table of my local pharmacy for $5 each!
I used these mainly as bath oils but also as body oils on occasion during my first pregnancy.
30ml of one of these beauties added to the bath is just pure heaven for anyone but it doesn't get any better for a pregnant woman. Weightless, intoxicating aroma, and you come out baby smooth.
These made up the bulk of my stretch mark prevention routine. I bathed in one several times a week. I'm not about to go out and proclaim them as a miracle prevention for the dreaded stretchies (it's mostly genetic apparently) but I will say I didn't get a single one so who knows?
As a body oil I found these perhaps a tad too heavy and slow to absorb for regular use. Great as a massage oil though.
The wild mint and bergamot one is my favourite (although based purely on scent the cocoa and vanilla one gives it a run for it's money). The mint provided me with a little relief from the itching I suffered towards the end and for that alone I was eternally grateful.
The most annoying thing about these is the silly spray bottle. Not a problem when you're pouring into your bath but when trying to spray on your body it's a right pain in the behind...actually the finger. You have to push the top A LOT to get enough out to cover a significant area. Very frustrating.
Tips: If you do use these in the bath please be careful getting out - particularly if you are pregnant! Although you're skin absorbs most of the oil the bath is still really greasy and is slippery. You will also need to clean it before your next shower if you have a shower/bath in one.
This is my first body oil. I was incredulous in use body oils but definitely this product has changed my mind. I have the vanilla and cassia oil. I am so excited with this product. It has a sweet and delicate smell. I love it! I have applied it on my body and I have noticed my skin is more moisturized and I already don't have dry skin on my legs. This is a light oil that it doesn't feel greasy or sticky. I recommend this product because it really works. This product is free of mineral oils and parabens, toxic chemicals and animal testing.
Tips: Apply the oil when you finish your shower and your skin is a little humid. Your skin will be more hydrated.
This Bath and Body oil is a nice lightweigt consistancy that when placed on your skin does not leave a greasy film or leave you feeling sticky and gross. It has a nice subtle smell which was definatly not overpowering like many aromatherapy products I have used before. You can smell the tones of lavendar and rose but other than that it didn't smell like much else to me ( I will confess I had a slightly blocked nose so more underlying tones may not have been picked up by me). I started off using this only on a few rough patches of skin that I had on my upper thigh as I wanted to see if it would help before I slathered it over my entire body. I was pleasently suprised with the fact that after only two days I noticed a huge difference in the texture of my skin and the fact that it still felt smooth 12hours later. I then started to use it on stretch marks on my stomach and although I have only used this for a short while I do think there is a slight difference in the appearence of these. There are a few things I don't like about this product however. I am not entirely fussed with the applicator nozzle. It's a spray type nozzle (like a toner or mist) which strikes me as weird as the oil isn't at all mist like, I think it would be better to have more of a pump nozzle as I found I always had to put a few sprays into the palm of my hand to get enough oil to use. Another thing I didn't really enjoy about this oil was when I used it as a bath oil. It states on the back of the bottle that you can use as a bath oil, however it doesn't state how much oil you need to put in the water etc. I decided to give it a go and place five squirts of the oil (approx 3-5 mls of oil) into my bath. Straight away the oil floated in a greasy oil puddle on the top of the water and while bathing in it I felt like I was sitting in a bath full of grease, it left quite a thick emollsion on my skin and I felt I had to rub with a towel quite hard to take a lot of the oil off.
Tips: As well as using this on rough patches on my skin I also applied it as a cuticle oil and found that it worked really well. I just left it on my bedside table and placed it on straight before bed
First off, I was super excited that this product gave me a flawless excuse to hide away in my deep bath tub for a couple of hours after a stressful week, so thank you beauty review :)
And what a bath is was, The Aromatherapy Co Therapy Range Body and Bath Oil smells amazing, the scent of lavender and citrus filled my bathroom as the tub was filled, instantly relaxing my whole body. The oil made the water feel soft (if thats even possible) and left my skin feeling smooth, supple and moisturised for a few days following. I would definitely use it in the tub again. However, i wasn't as much of a fan when using it after a shower as a body oil. The spray top made it awkward to use and instead I ended up pouring some into the palm of my hand and massaged it into my skin that way.
I will definitely use this product again as a bath oil, i loved the way my skin felt after using the Therapy oil and how relaxed my whole body became upon using it in the bath. I loved it.
Tips: Don't use the spray top if you want to use it as a body oil post shower/bath.
I used body oil after a shower on my legs (after shaving) and it made them feel so smooth and quite like they had been rehydrated! They were no longer dry after shaving in the shower like they normally would be, also any little nicks from shaving healed up almost overnight! It was super easy to use and apply (although I did have trouble getting the squirty bottle part to work) so I think a pump like bottle would be better. Other than that I would definitely recommend to friends to use or even purchase for friends as a lovely gift. I love that there are so many different natural oils within the product and also that it is not tested on animals.
Tips: A pump like bottle would work better as the squirty bottle did not work as it should.
I have tried many oil products and have left oil residue on my skin this is the best product ever that I have tried it has left my skin smooth no more dry areas rubs is nicely leaves no residue on my skin and smell omg it is so lovely refreshing the lavender smell is perfect I give this product 10 huge thumbs up and i recommend that you try this product you will be amazed just as I was I love this in the bath with the heat of the bath and the aroma that this gives off I have never had such a relaxing bath I LOVE IT
I simply love this bath oil and was lucky to find some in the factory shop in Onehunga at a good price and when I am feeling decadent use in in the bath as it is designed for ,but mainly apply to my skin when it is extra dry especially if I have been outside in the wind and I find although it sits on my skin for a while but the end result is so worth it. I didn't have any choice as the only one available was rose but the scent is lovely so that was not a problem. I went back to the shop to get more but they no longer had any. I will need to google a search as this is definitely a product I will re purchase.
Tips: If your skin is extra dry use on your skin directly and be advised a little goes a long way and will take a wile to sink in.
