Bath and Body Works Pink Chiffon Body Lotion Review

I enjoy using all bath and body works lotion. I havd had the same experience with every scent i have used. Pink chiffon is very fruity and it lasts a long time. If i put it on in the morning I can still smell it working around lunch time, so more then half the day. It feels very creamy and absorbs into your skin very fast. All of their lotions are super hydrating and they dont make you feel slimy or anything. I highly recommend them. I currently have pink chiffon, moonlight path, enchanted, twilight woods, and cashmere glow. All are awesome.

After seeing 392039203 videos on youtube about how amazing Bath and Body Works' candles were, I jumped on trademe to see if I could find any. Long story short I ended up buying a few of their body lotions instead of candles.

I have the miniature version of this - which is 88mL. The bottle size makes this perfect to take in your handbag and is awesome for travelling. The design in terms of the packaging doesn't do anything for me personally (it is the same as the picture above), but this wouldn't put me off from picking it up and smelling it if I saw this in store.

The thing that first drew me to trying a Bath and Body Works product was the fact that everyone spoke about how amazing the scents of their products were. They weren't lying. Pink Chiffon is a very, very sweet - almost candyfloss type scent. To me it smells like candyfloss and caramlised sugar. It's very sweet!

I use this on my body as I don't like to use heavily fragranced products on my face, and the smell lasts a good few hours on my skin. It works really well as a moisturiser and makes my skin feel soft and smooth - as well as hydrated.

The lotion itself errs slightly on the thinner side, which isn't something I am wild about. I personally like lotions to be slightly thicker. In saying this however, it does do a decent job at moisturising and perfuming your skin, and the thin consistency makes it easy to blend into your skin.

The only thing I don't like about the product is that it does leave a weird 'film' behind on my hands after applying it. This isn't anything major, but is enough to feel slightly annoying to me. For this reason I won't use this as a hand moisturiser - as I don't like my hands feeling greasy. I don't notice this so much on my legs (I assume the film feeling is still there but it doesn't bother me). In saying this though, this doesn't prevent me from using this lotion as I love the smell and the way it makes my skin hydrate.

Overall I think this is a beautiful smelling lotion. I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase it again though. The reason for this is only because I am a really olfactory person and I tire of scents very, very quickly. If I could get this easily - like in a shop, I would likely purchase it again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to order it from the USA and youshop it over. I also likely wouldn't repurchase it from trademe again, although I would purchase other scents from the same line.
