When I first saw this in the supermarket , I was instantly attracted to the packaging. A cool design .

When I tried it I was even more impressed. Comes in your normal soap bar.It felt soft on the hands. I love that it is made from natural products. Smells fresh and clean. You get that lemongrass scent when you wash your hands or body with it.Didn't dry my hands out like other soaps would.

It's definitely made me want to try other products in their lines. I would love to try some lip balms and shampoos as well.

Eco store are a brand I really enjoy and like. This soap was given to me and isn't something I would ever purchase for myself - just because I have a borderline pathological hatred of soap bars (I prefer liquid soap and body wash).

In saying that though, I thought I would give this a go as I do like the brand. I want to preface the review by saying I gave the 'would you use it again' as a 1 star ONLY because I strongly dislike soap bars.

As with all Eco Store products - the packaging is awesome. I love the simple design that they incorporate on all of their products, and I really love that this came encased in an environmentally friendly cardboard box.

The scent is really strong - truthfully I would have preferred it a little less scented, but the scent is pleasant and fresh and lasts a long time on your skin after using it.

The soap bar itself is like any other soap bar - it lathers nicely and makes you feel clean. Unlike other soap bars however, this doesn't have that vile 'soap' smell and nor does it dry out your skin or leave a nasty residue.

Even though I wouldn't repurchase this because I dislike soap bars - I would purchase this for friends that do like soap. I would also recommend this if you like bars of soap as this is an inexpensive soap that makes your skin feel nice, smells excellent and leaves you feeling fresh after using it.

The packaging is amazing The cardboard can be re cycled which appeals to me and no flash over the top colour printing designed to catch your eye. The soap itself has a great fragrance which I found refreshing and cleansing. It lathered up well and didn't leave any residue like some brands can.

I got this to try and smells soo good even before you have used it .. using it ya skin feels soft and moisturised and not dry like other soaps .. has a delicate lemon smell that's so delish ..... would recommend to anyone

First of all.. how good is the smell of this one?? The coconut one is devine as well. Love the packaging, love the product and they are all natural! How good can it get?

I love all of the Eco store soaps but especially the Lemon Grass. The scent is very nice and I find that it is perfect for in the kitchen as well as the bathroom. I have even used these on my body also and find it doesn't dry my skin out at all unlike some other cheap supermarket soaps. I love how it is in a sort of old fashioned rectangular cut and not moulded into all the regular soap cuts and the packaging makes it stand out from the others too.

I actually originally bought this for my man to try as an alternative to other drying soaps and shower gels because he gets eczema. I have used other Eco store products and love the brand and what they stand for. It worked so well for my partner I tried it as well. Firstly, the smell is so refreshing, wakes you right up! And this soap feels moisturising on my skin and wasn't drying at all which I was so impressed with. Overall I was so happy with this product, especially for the price! And it has greatly improved my partners eczema, so I would recommend for those of you with eczema.

Feels beautiful on your skin and smells amazing. And these guys are NZ made too. Skin feels soft after showering and the soap does not dry my skin.

I have tried all the Eco Store soaps, I buy the hand soap, the laundry products and the dishwash. I mainly use body washes, but this is al I have in the bathroom when I feel like a change. Doesn't dry out my skin, and has a lovely scent. Will buy again.

I too truly love this soap, I alternate between the different scents as each bar runs out. The scent of the lemongrass is genuine, gorgeous and refreshing. I do find though that when I've almost used the bar up the scent has faded dramatically, so its time to open another fresh one. It has a beautiful creamy lather. Also I found its good on my face (which is oily) when I run out of my regular facial cleanser as its not drying at all. The packaging also looks pretty all stacked up on the shelf!
