Lush The Rough with the Smooth Body Scrub Review

I really like this with the bumps to exfoliate and massage the skin. I enjoyed the smell but can't quite explain what it reminds me of. I keep it in a tin after use to prolong the life. After getting towards the end as it starts to thin out I found it started to crumble in to pieces. These just wash away while trying to use. But overall really happy with it.

Like most of us I have an absolute love affair with a lot of Lush products and I am always keen to try new ones. I do enjoy a great body scrub, always an enjoyable part of my shower, so I was keen to try this body scrub. The smell of this scrub bar is probably the best thing I have ever smelt, I wish there was a fragrance and a body wash, I would be in heaven. The actual srubbing ability of this bar is really good, however this is where my praise ends. it was really difficult to use after a couple of showers, it just broke into pieces, I used the little bits but it was really difficult and they really just crumbled away.

This was not a cheap scrub bar and I was sadly dissapointed with the way it didnt last.

Last Christmas my partner and kids purchased this for my Christmas present. I was over the moon because I enjoy anything Lush. This is my first time trying a solid body scrub bar. My skin type is a mixture of dry with oily patches.

The packaging of this bar is a solid bar with bumps on it a beautiful mustard orange colour. The scent of it reminds me of caramel mixed with a cinnamon spice.

The consistency is slightly coarse with sugar or salt granules. During washing the consistency is workable rough but smooths out as the water hits it.

Application I found easy. I packaged my bar seperate yesterday in a zip lock bag . So far I have had ten applications still counting. It's a very generous sized bar well worth the money.

For a first time trying a solid body scrub I was really impressed with the consistency and number of applications I got. I would without a doubt repurchase this gem again.

This is a GORGEOUS wee product! It's a shower scrub, but comes in a bar form. I love how it's packaging free, like a lot of Lush's other products, and is full of ethically sourced, cruelty-free and natural ingredients. Not to mention, this little mamma jamma smells AMAZING! I honestly have no words to describe it - you'll have to go smell for yourself. It is a lovely scrub on the skin - not too harsh or too gentle - and leaves you smelling amazing all day long.

My only downside with this product is that it only lasted about 3-4 showers for me.
