Garnier Body Superfood Cocoa & Ceramide

This product was amazing, you could definitely see a difference as soon as I had applied it to my skin. The consistency was perfect, thick and buttery feeling, it had an amazing fragrance too. The tub is a little awkward to open and close one handed, a pump bottle would definitely be better. Overall I would buy this again

I have really liked this cream. It is a lovely soft cream, not as thick as other body butters I've used but that's not a bad thing at all. My skin feels soft and smooth and has a little hint of cocoa. It absorbs quickly with no greasy feel.

As a person with very dry skin I was over the moon to trial this body superfood. Firstly I'm a big fan of moisturisers in tubs, it means I can easily scope out how ever much product I need, return any if I take to much and the money conscious part of me loves that I can make sure I use every little bit. The product itself is very thick and creamy with a lovely soft fragrance of a mixture of cocoa and some floral notes. It absorbs quite quickly into the skin, but I always try and give it a few minutes before popping clothes on top of it. After using this once a day in the morning for a week I can happily say that I have noticed quite a difference in my skin. Normally by morning I would find my legs starting to show signs of dryness, in my case this shows as fine white lines, but I have had no signs of this over the last week. My skin feels softer and the patches of dryness on my elbows and knees has completely disappeared. I love this product and will definitely be buying it again for use throughout the summer.

The first thing I noticed about this was the smell - yum! Its very cocoa/coconutty and smells delish, I have my parcels sent to work and all the girls agreed on how nice it smelt.

I chose the Cocoa & Ceramide formula as I have very dry skin - especially my legs. If I'm not proactive with moisturising they can look scaly, which is just not fun in the summer.

I think I need to continue using longer to see the full benefits but after a week I can say that it's a decent product - if you are used to a traditional cocoa butter is it not that thick, but akin to a very thick moisturiser. You don't need a lot of it, and if you make the mistake of using too much it can be quite hard to rub it all in - definitely go with the less is more approach.

All in all it has a lovely smell, applies nicely and leaves me feeling hydrated. It also has vegan and cruelty free status if that is something you look for when purchasing.

A quick Google tells me its priced at around $16 - considering the size of the tub and the fact you don't need a lot; this is a bargain.

I have quite dry skin especially in the summer months and this was a great way of combatting that. The product is easy to use, absorbs quickly and leaves your skin feeling great for hours afterwards.

I like that it's natural and the company don't test on animals as well. The smell is also great and I'd be keen to try the other options available. I will definitely be repurchasing.

If you’re looking for a huge tub of thick buttery moisturising goodness then this is for you. It’s definitely not a lotion which is a nice change for me who doesn’t have dry skin but I take this as being a whole body luxury skin treatment. The smell I get is overwhelmingly coconut which is great however I thought it would be more cocoa butter looking at the pictures. Probably would prefer a more depth of scent to be honest (like you get with Lush and Sukin). But it’s no biggie. The tub allows you to scoop out a nice amount quickly without having to faff about with a tube lid or pump so it’s really fast to apply and because it’s a generous size you probably get more out and use more than you might normally. The next day you can still feel it there hydrating away although there’s not much of a scent lingering. After a week of use my upper arms especially feel smoother, which is where I get those small annoying bumps. I love that it’s 97% natural origin, Garnier keep producing the goods! Will purchase again but maybe try another version/scent (if there is one) just for the variety.

I was lucky enough to trial this product for Beauty Review. It comes in a pot with a screw top lid which works well for body butter - easy to open and scoop out what you need. The packaging is recyclable which is important to me. This product smells divine! I used it the evening that I received it after a bath and it absorbs into the skin really well. I didn't feel at all sticky getting into bed. The next morning when I woke up my skin still felt moisturised and I could still feel that the product was on there and working. Overall, my skin feels more moisturised having used this for a week and bonus, I smell great too!

I really, really wanted to trial this body butter and I am so lucky and thankful that I got to. I absolutely love the Garnier Fructis hair food so I was wondering if I would feel the same way about this body superfood. Well, yes, yes and yes! I love it and I am going to try each of the flavours. This body superfood comes in a sturdy 380ml recyclable plastic tub which is good for the world. The labelling is attractive with a lot of information on it so you can make an informed choice when you are shopping. I chose the cocoa and ceramide one because my skin has started to become dry and the label states :very dry skin:. The first time I used this was in the morning after my shower. I spread it onto my legs, hands and arms. The formula is thick and creamy and smells wonderful. The scent is not overpowering though, which is great because it wont clash with your fragrance. As I smoothed it over my legs I could see instantly a transformation of my skin. I looked smooth and nourished. It absorbed really well and I didn't feel like I was covered in a thick layer of cream, which can happen with some body butters I have used. The label states 48 hour repairing butter and I was super interested to see how true that statement was. I paid special attention to my arms and legs that evening to see how they looked and felt and I was so happy. My skin looked and felt as soft and smooth as it did that morning. The following morning I applied the superfood again after my shower and my skin just got better and better. I didn't realise just how dry it was until I used this. This will be part of my daily routine from now on, and I am excited to try the other flavours.

I loved this, I have dry skin and after using it for nearly a week my skin looks and feels so much better. It really does leave the skin feeling good for ages, no need to reapply multiple times during the day. It's a very lush thick cream that soaks in to the skin really well. I also love that the tub is huge so it's really good value for money. This is my new fave moisturizer, especially with summer coming. If you are thinking of trying it I'd say go for it you will not be disappointed.

I absolutely loved using this, the biggest thing I look for in body lotions and body butter is that it moisturises well but doesn’t leave that greasy feeling on the surface of your skin. I feel like this body really gets into the skin rather than just sitting on the surface. It also doesn’t take forever to rub in which is nice and smells amazing! I do have really dry skin and sometimes cracked skin which I don’t think this gets rid of the extreme patches of dry skin, it definitely helps but I find that if I’m going through a period where my skin is super dry and cracked I’d have to use a stronger lotion or cream
