Having sensitive skin it is hard to find a soap that doesn't irate or dry it out. I found this product to be a great cleanser and quite moisturising. It didn't break out my skin or irritate existing blemishes. I found Simple soap to be gentle and nourishing. It didn't make me smell of that traditional strong soap smell which I find to be an extra bonus! I have not used this on my face however.

I have used simple soap for over 20 years due to the fact that it is the only soap I can find that doesn't irritate my skin. I have a tendency to get eczema and very dry skin and most creams and soaps will flare this up. Simple soap doesn't which is great.
I used to buy this soap all the time, I'm really not sure why I stopped! But after seeing this on BR it has made me remember what a good all round soap this is.
The name Simple, really suits this soap. It is a no-fuss, plain soap that is iconic. It's great for sensitive skins and doesn't have any perfume or colour.
The packaging is simple, just like its name. it has plain white wrapping, with its iconic green writing. I love the simple, stylish packaging.
My skin tends to be dry and sensitive, I used to use this instead of a bodywash, and it just made me feel nice and clean, with no irritation.
It doesn't leave your skin feeling tight, like other soaps do - its just so gentle and moisturising.
It's very affordable, and great you can just pick it up with your weekly shopping.
This is going to be on my shopping list again, as its a great soap for sensitive skins.
Love this soap as I have sent ice skin and can't use much soap but this one does not give me a rash.
I never thought I would see the day where I didn't want to smell like a froot loop. Instead of buying a fruity bodywash in my monthly necessity shop I opt for something plain and simple, the simple bar soap was the perfect buy for me. The 2 bars of soap lasted my family of 4 just under a month but it was narrowed down to a family of 3 because my son has the most sensitive skin and even the soap gave him big rashes.
Every time I use this soap I feel so fresh and clean, normally a few hours after bathing I get dry patches on my knees and elbows but since using this soap the dryness has nearly completely gone. It leaves my skin feeling moisturised and well nourished.
It is very affordable, incredible for the quality of the soap but buyers be weary if you have extremely sensitive soap this isn't for you.
This comes in very large bars so it lasted me quite a while. It has no fragrance or nasties in it, which is what I liked most about it, I don't want to be using soap that damages my already sensitive-enough skin. It leaves my skin feeling really soft though, which is quite surprising as it has fairly basic ingredients. It doesn't irritate my skin, so I'm pretty happy with this soap and I will repurchase this.
I bought this at the supermarket because we had run out of our usual rose scented soap which I get from Bed Bath & Beyond, and I didn't have time to get there. This soap is mild and gentle on skin, I have quite sensitive skin on my face, but only used this soap on my body in the shower, and my son who has excema didn't use it at all. I would recommend as a stand-by soap if you want something unscented and mild with no colouring in it. Leaves you feeling moisturised and clean and lasts for a long time, it comes in a two-pack at Countdown for a tiny price.
Tips: Buy the two-pack if buying in bulk.
I used this instead of my usual soap as I was hoping to find a cheaper alternative. This soap was okay (a bit drying) and a good price but I found it wasn't as good as my regular soap. In saying that, it would be great as a backup soap and is better than a lot of the other soap brands.
Simple can be found in most supermarkets or chain stores. I was first introduced to this brand by my aunty who is a frequent user of simple due to having sensitive skin. I enjoy using soaps because they normally last longer than my body washes. My skin type is dry with acne during winter .
This soap comes individually wraped in white paper. Has the green and white labbelling that is classic of this brand. This soap is a rectangular white shaped bar with simple engraved in it. This solid bar has a mild fragrance thats suble and smooth.
When I first used this it lathers up lightly leaving a milky residue behind. I managed to get a months use out of one bar. I had no skin irritations at all with this bar. It is priced affordably and can be purchased in twin or multi packs. At the time I chose the individual pack to test it out. My body felt clean after use. I didn't notice any hydration or moisturisation to my skin. I think this bar is ok, I will repurchase it to try on my children.
I purchased this as its very affordable and looking for a cheaper alternative to my facila cleanser. I found that it was pretty good. But it did slightly dry my skin out on my face. But using a moisturiser after made it fine. It didnt irritate me skin, and i have slightly sensitive skin. So over all i think its defiantly worth the price but needs to be followed by a moistruiser
