Oasis Beauty Super Tan Review

Life is better with a tan :-) And what a discovery Oasis Beauty Super Tan has been! Once I am lathered in this bronze goodness, several things spring to mind. Instant results, a boost of confidence with streak free coverage and there's no UV exposure. Not to mention the skin benefits like smothering yourself in Vitamin E, (amongst other 100% natural goodies) - which help to hydrate your skin and improve appearance.

To me, Oasis Beauty Super Tan packaging is smart looking and trustworthy. The bronze colour box stands out on the shelf, if you are buying in-store, and once opened you will find a white 150ml tube containing pure bronzing magic. This also includes a complimentary applicator mitt. I have never used the mitt. There are thorough directions on how to apply also.

Once opened, there is a slight fragrance but it is not unpleasant or a give away that you will be wearing self tan. The consistency of Oasis Beauty Super Tan is like a rich bronze mousse, so is very easy to apply. I work this colour magic into my skin quickly as it dries reasonably fast, which is great as you can get dressed straight away. This tanning goodness is non-greasy and does not stain bedding or clothing.

Oasis Beauty Super Tan provides a light, instant tan/sun kissed glow. I love the instant results (hence why I keep repeating myself) and that you can easily build up to your desired shade.

My skin looks and feels amazing. And does not smell as though I am wearing a self tan product.

I was a bit excited to see this in the NZ brand box as I have heard good comments about this product.

This super tan comes with a tanning mitt which is nice. You don’t want to stain your hands while doing it. The product has a thick consistency cream but it was not too hard to apply.

Super Tan is a gradual tan, but the tanning effect is pretty much instant. I exfoliate my skin and apply a good amount of it to the mitt and rub it all over my body. After the first application I noticed a beautiful golden glow from the instant bronzer. I did not want my tan to be too dark so topped after the 2nd application.

I noticed streaks in the bronzer but they eventually washed off after a shower. The tan dries very fast in about 1-2 minutes, and I haven’t had any problems with it rubbing off on my clothes. Once the tan is fully developed, the result is quite natural and healthy looking. It does not dry out my skin which is amazing. I noticed the product contains jojoba, vitamin E, and calendula, these help to hydrate your skin. My tan does definitely last up to 5 days with me having a shower every 2 days.

I have not experience any irritations with this product. The product comes in a decent size bottle and a mitt. I find the mitt really helps to achieve even application. This tanning product is definitely worth trying and I would recommend it.

Ok so I’m not a very motivated tanner. At my age and weight, not too many bits are out on display. I had a brief foray into the tanning world while doing my tech course but haven’t done any since. Anyway, I’m thinking of going to Aussie after the winter for a holiday (less keen since I saw a pic of Chris Hemsworth next to a spider the size of a cat), so some tanning may well be on the cards.

Since I got this product in the BBBE, I thought I’d try tanning my chest, as I have a v- shaped tanned area from wearing vee neck shirts, but sometimes I want to wear clothing with a wider neck and don’t like the white patch. Oh, and I was happy to try it, as I usually like Oasis products very much!

The product comes in a standard white tube and is accessed by popping the top and squeezing. It is a dark brown cream that spreads easily. I find it doesn’t get patchy and doesn’t end up with the dark green streaks I got from the last product I tried, and leaves a light brown shade behind it.

It is slowly building up with daily use to a natural-looking light brown skin tone.

I like this product and look forward to seeing how it goes with actual sun on it (if the spider memory fades long enough for me to get to Aussie).

Definitely worth trying for anyone wanting to prolong their tan or add a bit of colour.

I am not a big fan of home tanning products. I have had bag experiences in the past with numerous products. In saying this I was impressed with Oasis Beauty Super Tan.

It was the one product in my BBBE that I wasn't sure I would use. To my surprise I really like it. It smells much nicer than other products and it is easy to apply. I used the mitt that was supplied with it. The cream went on smoothly and evenly. I was very happy with the light tan it produced.

Another positive about this product is the ingredients. It contains NO parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, sulphates and nano-particles. It also contains beautiful ingredients such as vitamin E, calendula and jojoba oil.

It would be great to see some more information on the product about exfoliation and skin prep. The directions say "wipe the palms of your hand, to remove any tan after application". I would recommend you wash your hand thoroughly in warm soapy water to remove any tan from them. The packaging I received had no ingredient list written on it. I looked this up on the Oasis Beauty website. It is important for me to know what I am putting on my skin.

I am not sure if I will purchase this in the future. I do like the ease of going to a salon and getting an even spray tan. They can get to places I cannot reach.

I am loving this product. Been saving it to use on my trip to Greece is year and I so happy with the results. The lower part of my legs are browning up each day and the Super Tan is completing the look from knees up! I'm very happy indeed with this product. The tan lasts a few days and doesn't come off on bedclothes or towel after shower. There aren't streaks nor patches. A few easy strokes makes application a synch. You have to apply lightly and carefully in a good light and it's worth it. The only drawback as far as I can see is the application mitt which, after half a dozen sessions started to shed its fibres as I stroked on the Super Tan. Easily rectified and I am now using a microfibre cloth which isn't very glam but which does the job perfectly. The Mediterranean sun is much kinder than our fierce rays and I'm letting Super Tan pave the way to nice brown legs!

I've used this tanner several times since receiving it in my beauty box. I loved how it came packaged with the mitt and ribbon. I've applied the tan with the mitt, and it was easy to get an even coverage. Because of it being a pigmented colour to start, I found it easy to apply evenly and to see if I had missed any spots. I found it to give me a nice glow straight away, and it was a nice natural shade, not orange at all. I always exfoliate before hand to make sure it is an even coverage. The tube is a large size, so I will get plenty of uses. It is pleasantly scented. I've always been a fan of Oasis products, and this product has been a winner for me too. I think it is a good price for the amount of product received.

I don't tan, never have so have tried numerous tanning products. I tried this one. What I loved was the instant colour. Normally you wait over night and hope you e done it right, in the morning you find out. But with this you get instant colour then over night it gradually darkens. The first time I put on two layers and realised I only needed one layer. The smell was good too, not strong. It was easy to apply especially with the special glove.

Finally with the Summer season near I have been able to try this tanner out. My only experience with tanner is aerosol tan . I've never tried a tanner in a cream form. I got this in my nz brands box in the middle of winter so I couldn't really try this out straight away. I've tried a couple of Oasis products and have enjoyed them all so far and was looking forward to trying this one out.

This tanner comes in a white tube thats easy to get product out of . I don't think white was a good idea for a tanning container as I did get tanning smears on it. It came with a black velvet mitt. On the opposite side of the mit is this thin material similar to nylon. The consistency of this cream is super soft creamy a brown paste . The smell of it is terrible. It smells like old fish oil. Maybe they could add in a natural scent .

Before using this I shaved my legs and did a light body scrub. I put dots of this tanning cream across my legs . I use the mitt provided to smooth this product out. I wasn't sure which side to use so I used both. Silly mistake I made the nylon side seeped through onto the palm of my hand. Luckily this product is easy to wash off.

I'm wearing shorts a lot now and I've been using this tanner . It lasts me all day long. I didn't have any streaking or colour fade. There wasn't any transfer onto light coloured clothing either. I found it easy to come off my skin. The only thing I didn't like was the smell of it. Otherwise overall it's a great product for a warm summer glowy skin.

As with I’m sure many of my pasty sisters I’m always on the hunt for a great self tan. This one has been reasobly reliable for me- provides a really natural colour, has pigment to make application easier and is a great price. I find a mitt is a must, as is moisturising a few hours before application. Am on my second bottle of this stuff so will most likely be back for a third!
