Botanical Beauty Coconut and Lime Body Scrub Review

The first thing I found with Botanical Beauty Coconut and Lime Body Scrub was the scent - it smells fantastic. The scent takes you away on it's own to a place of relaxation. I used it in the shower, stopping the water, scrubbing my body gently and then rinsing off. It was wonderful on dry patches of skin and even dry elbows and heels. Once washed off it leaves your skin feeling soft and smelling great. I would likely purchase this product as a gift for friends to indulge in.

I was excited to try this product because I've been a big fan of the Frank coffee scrub for a while but had never tried any other kind.

When the package arrived, I could smell it as I opened the letter box, the package has breathing holes so be careful as I found residue leaked out :p

The first time I used it I followed the instructions of most in shower body scrubs: wet skin, rub into skin in circular motions for a few minutes, and rinse.

It made the shower floor very slippery and hard to stand on, but there is a warning for this on the packet.

Like most shower scrubs of this kind, I found you didn't need much to cover your whole body, just a small handful, so the packet goes a long way.

The flavour was coconut and lime, but the best way to describe those two flavours together is very tropical.

It has a caramel colour that doesn't stain surfaces.

I found this scrub wasn't as effective at moisturising my skin as my normal coffee scrub, but the sugar scrub formula would be a great soft alternative for people who aren't fond of coffee.

The smell of this scrub is amazing, perfect blend of zingy lime and coconuts. Like a cocktail on a beach somewhere exotic

I assume that going by the picture here on the site that the packaging which those of us selected to review is a "sample" packaging because that is the only downside with this product that I found. The pouch was awkward to use in the shower and hard to reseal to prevent the rest of the product getting wet.

I have not used a lot of scrubs previously but found this one a good texture not too rough that it felt like it was going to rip your skin off which I have experienced before with another scrub. It left my skin feeling "sandblasted" but in a good way. Would definitely recommend it. The warning on the packet said it would leave the shower floor slippery but I didn't really think it was a huge issue. Great that they have the warning there though, just in case.

Love the smell! I could smell it through the courier bag when I got it out of the letterbox.

Opened the bag, its like large granules of sugar with oils mixed through. Excellent skin scrub. It had no greasy feeling residue after rinsed it off (which most I've tried do), but it does moisturise the skin - doesn't leave it dry and tight.

Would I use it again? Yes, if it comes in a proper container. The sample came in a resealable bag which was a tad annoying and messy. But other than that I have nothing to fault with the product, and I am assuming that it came in the bag as it was a sample but if I were to pay $25 for a product, I'd want it to come in decent user friendly packaging!

I'm a very hard person to please when it comes to body scrubs but this ticks all the boxes! It does everything it says on the package , it smells Devine, it leaves your skin feeling amazing. I fake tan a lot and this was a,axing to get it off. I would definitely re purchase

I could smell this product as soon as I opened my mailbox when it arrived. Divine.... unfortunately some of the product had leaked in the packet, but it wasn't too much so wasn't a big deal. The packaging is beautiful, but I wasn't expecting the actual product to be quite as amazing (silly me :P) This was my first time using a body scrub, and my god am I glad I tried this one out. The smell is heavenly, if it was edible I definitely would have tried it! It was really easy to apply, and didn't make my shower floor slippery like the packaging warned me it might (good idea there). Afterwards my skin felt so smooth and moisturised - for the first time ever I didn't need to use a moisturiser when I got out of the shower. You could smell the product on my skin for hours afterwards too which I found lovely. Highly, highly recommend this. It really did make my week trying this out :)

Divine smell, could smell it once opened the courier bag it arrived in even. Provided a good exfoliation yet left my skin feeling nourished. Resealable pouch not so user friendly but manageable. Would happily use again!

I was lucky enough to get to try the coconut and lime scrub from botanical beauty, and my goodness I'm glad I did! First thing I noticed (and everyone in my house noticed) when it arrived in the mail was the incredible fragrance. The combination of different fragrances work VERY well together and it almost smells good enough to want to eat. I am usually quite prone to ingrown hair, especially after shaving and so I focused using this product on those spots. I shaved and made sure to exfoliate every night following, and no ingrown hairs!! The rough sugary texture feels great on your skin and definitely does its job. It left me feeling fresh and soft and smelling great.

OMGG! This product is amazing! I am so glad i got picked to trial this. As soon as i went out and opened my mailbox i immediately smelt the deliciousness. I couldn't wait to try and i did the first night it arrived before bed i did what the instructions told me to which was turn off the shower and scrub in circular motions then rinse . I couldnt believe how silky smooth it made my skin and the yummy scent was still on my skin the next morning :) im also prone to getting a few ingrown hairs and found this helped with them. I will definatly be buying this again as i also loved that it was all natural products. I have told friends and family about how great this is already.

loved the smell but not a fan of the packaging. Resealable pouch is a weird idea for any bathroom product. Can't open it with wet hands and can't reseal it once it gets product on the ziplock.

Nice texture. Feels rough but not to the point that it's hard on the skin. Smells and feels nice and natural and left my skin glowing afterwards. Would buy it in the jar but certainly never in the pouch
