When I first heard about Nail Foundation I was pretty skeptical- surely this was just another product to add to my already extensive, not to mention expensive nail collection. I was given butter London Nail Foundation as part of a set and have been so impressed that I will not paint my nails without it! It is nude, almost sheer coloured and drys matte. It evens out your ridges and conceals any discolouration, leaving you with the perfect canvas in which to paint. I love butter Londons nail polish brushes - they are perfectly sized and ensure you get smooth coverage. Nail Foundation dries quickly which is a real positive for me as once I sit down to do nail art or paint my nails, I don't want to be there for hours waiting for individual layers to dry. I really like the look of my nails once they have been prepped with Nail Foundation- so much so that I often go out with just the product on, no other colour required!

This product just makes sense! I love sheer and nude nail polishes but hate having to layer them up to get a good even coat that you can't see my natural nails underneath. This base coat gives the nail an even pale matt base that makes colour application easy and gives me a flawless result. Very quick drying and a good long brush for even application
Tips: Don't be out off after the first application! The pale beige coat disappears completely even with very sheer polishes
