We've tried several spray sunblocks. Having 2 young boys it was near difficult to touch up the sunblock every couple hours.
Cancer Society Ultra Cool is great. In my experience it lives up to everything it says it does. It was cool and refreshing on application. Once dried there was no greasy feeling left on the skin - Took less than a minute to dry. It's easy to use. Too easy.
The spray itself has quite a bit of pressure behind it but we liked that, as with most other spray sunblocks we tried, they were more of a mist, and excess sunblock sprayed everywhere and very little went on the skin - causing the tin to run out quickly. This sunblock (from our experience) had very little excess spray going in all other directions which is great.
I love this sunblock! It has been so perfect for the summer heat, especially the hot Auckland weather this weekend! It really is "extra cooling" as it states, which makes it lovely and cool and applying it to your skin in the heat of the sun :).
I always love this style of sunblock - the sunblock that you spray; there's something about it that makes it feel so much more convenient and quick to apply then regular pumped sunblock out of a pump or tube.
It applys so evenly across the skin and is light and super quick drying.
I can have quite sensitive skin when it comes to suncreen, but this gave no reaction to my skin at all, also it didnt feel greasy and horrible on my skin (or hands) after rubbing it in.
After being in the heat of the sun gardening for the afternoon today, no sunburn here, wahoo :) - with this sunscreen being SPF 50+ that would have helped! I normally look for a suncreen with a rating of 50+
The spray will definitely last me for the remainder of summer, and is so easy to just throw into my handbag or beach bag. I will definitely repurchase once this one is used up.
Tips: Prepare yourself for the coolness of the spray :)
