This is a huge disappointment! Thinking this would a great SPF because its Cancer Society, But no I still go burned. I kept reapplying its and following the guide lines but no it just did not help anything. Also it felt very greasy on my skin. Im not sure why this was happening but I would never ever use this again

The first time I used this I got burnt, I thought maybe it was because I was having a splash around preschool (I'm a teacher) with the hose. But the second time I used it I went nowhere near water and I was still scarlett. I didn't use it for years, and then when I was teaching at a new preschool this was the sunblock they used. I put it on some of the children and came out in itchy spots between my fingers. Many parents brought their own sunblock for their children as they found that this either didn't work, their child had an allergic reaction to it (usually looking like they had been burnt!) or they were sick of the stains. Obviously I won't use it again, but I wont let my children either!!
I used this sunblock last summer and got sunburnt! And for the record, it wasn't because of lack of reapplication! One day at the beach, I had a different brand of sunblock and applied that to everywhere except my back, then had someone else put some sunblock on my back. They used this Cancer Society sunblock and off we went. Then in the evening, my back was sore and bright red - the rest of my body was absolutely fine, no sunburn in sight! I was super disappointed as I thought the results would've been the other way around if I was going to get sunburnt! Would not ever use this again!
Tips: If you're going to use it, reapply every half hour if you don't want to get burnt!!
Didn't like this as got burnt using it. I have fairer skin and burned too easy so will not use this product again. Don't trust it on my children's skin either as don't want them burnt like I was.
Considering this is from the cancer society whenever I use it I always get burnt super quick! I'll use it if it's the only one there but I end up having re reapply so so often.
Tips: Reapply every hour instead of every few hours. Doesn't last long.
Reasonable price and it does protect the skin from the sun. However, I still find it too sticky and greasy with a real sunblock smell. It also irritate the eyes if you apply it too close the the eye area. The other pet hate is that is discolours light coloured fabric clothing.
Although the product kept me from getting sunburnt in really harsh conditions, i found it very sticky, fat tectured, heavy, and oily. I wouldn't use it as an every day sunscreen for that reason; at least not on my skin type
I'm a huge fan on sunscreen, and use it religiously even in winter. Its an essential in my daily skincare routine, but have to admit in winter i only use it on my face since the rest of my body is all rugged up.
This used to be the only sunscreen i used, simply because it was the one my family used, and so it was accessible, and most importantly, brought for me.
It comes in navy blue packaging which is adorned with the cancer society logo, which i don't know about you, but it makes me think this is the real deal, and the best you can buy.
A bonus of this product is that is comes in heaps of different sizes, so is pretty easy to find one that suits your needs.
As for the product itself. Well it's okay, its white, and quite thick. It has the distinctive sunscreen smell which i don't overly mind. However, i do find the is a bit hard to rub into skin, its not a big deal but it just make it less convenient to use. Plus it doesn't absorb as quickly as i would like, and leaves that greasy feeling which i just don't like.
Another negative for this product is i once spilled some on my black jeans, and boy did it stain them. Its wierd because it hasn't stained any of my other clothes, but now im on the paranoid side when i use this product.
Overly, not my favourite sunscreen, in fact-no where near my favourite sunscreen. Won't be repurchasing this again unless im desperate.
This really didn't protect my skin at all and haven't purchased since. Apparently some sunscreens went through a test and have since been improved. This may now be the case.
Used this product expecting it to be good as it's endorsed by the cancer society. I was shocked when even after numerous reapplication during the day myself and the others I was with (incl children) all still got burnt. We even retried it again a few days later and still got the same result. Burnt.
