As a very pale individual, I’m pretty much always going to get sunburnt no matter how much sunscreen I’m using! Needless to say, over the years I’ve sustained some pretty nasty sunburns and tried almost all the after sun gels available in the supermarket. I can genuinely say that the cancer society after sun gel is the best of the best. It has an amazing immediate soothing effect, and seems to be the only after sun gel that relieves me for more than 5 minutes after application! It dries down nicely and isn’t sticky! I also have sensitive skin which tolerated this gel really well. It does have a little fragrance to it, but I don’t mind that! Overall I’d definitely recommended getting this to keep in your summer stash!

Cancer Society After Sun Gel
Cooling, calming and rehydrating. Even well protected from harmful UV radiation, the skin still requires nourishment and rehydration after long periods of exposure to the elements. After sun moisturising gel with Aloe Vera will help bring back the skin’s moisture balance after exposure to the elements. The gel absorbs quickly, leaving your skin cool and re-nourished – no greasy feeling.

Tips: I always keep it in the fridge. The soothing effect is even better when the gel is kept in the fridge as it also cools hot/burnt skin wonderfully!
I loved this product, it is so helpful with cooling down the skin after a day in the sun (especially on any sunburn)! It spreads far and definitely, helps the skin feel nourished and rehydrated after being outside.
I would happily recommend this product, and will be buying it again for the summer!
Tips: Keep it in the fridge and pull it out when needed.
Have this as a standard purchase every summer and is a relief for those acadental sun exposure times.
Tips: Keep as cool as possible
This product is great at removing the stinging you get from sunburns and prevents the skin from peeling later on. I did find it a little sticky though and uncomfortable if putting clothes on after.
Literally feels like heaven on burnt skin. So soothing and factually helps the severity of the burn which is brilliant
Best thing to use after sunburn. Takes the sting away immediately as long as it is left in the fridge. Leaves skin hydrated aswell so the chances of peeling are low if you use this for the time you are burnt.
A summer essential, especially after being in the long hot summer sun! We are pretty good at wearing sun screen, so do not burn. We keep our after sun in the fridge, it is so lovely and cooling, especially after a shower. It keeps moisture in your skin and it is not sticky and absorbs into the skin well.
Tips: Not only can this be used for after sun, but it is great to use on bites, stings, prickles. Keeping it in the fridge keeps it nice and cool, soothing any sunburn instantly.
I'm brown and I get burnt a little from the sun because here it's so harsh so when I forget sunscreen or I have a little burn I put it on and it keeps it cool even throughout the day putting a little on your shoulders and neck helps..
After being outside on a hot day this is so cool and soothing on the skin. Its not heavy and the gel texture feels nice. Aloe Vera is just an amazing must have. It’s especially cooling if kept in the fridge.
After a day in the sun when your skin is a bit red or unfortunately burnt this is so cooling and soothing. Doesn't irritate my daughter's sensitive skin and just helps with the healing process really. I like that 100% of the profits are donated.
Tips: Keeping this in the fridge will enhance the cooling effect.
