This works well but apart from being a reputable brand and the non greasy feeling aloe vera gel is just as good yes it is soothing and calms the hot sore skin but a little does not really go a long way so I think for the price and amount you get just aloe gel is a better alternative. A handy container easy squeeze and cool blue colour having it sit on the lid makes is handy for instant use and getting the last of the product yes I would use again but it is branded and so your paying for that. A good cause though.

I got this from the warehouse just this summer gone and still have most of it left. I didn't use it as religiously as i meant to, but nonetheless I'm pretty impressed with the product. I've applied this on my little girl as well as myself after a day at the beach or outdoors and it does give a nice cooling relief to the skin! its very moisturizing as well without being greasy or sticky! I highly recommend it.
My partner and I use this every summer! Your skin just slurps it up and feels hydrated again in seconds. Avalible at the supermarket and very affordable. Can't go wrong.
Tips: Keep it in the fridge for extra cooling soothing lather
This gel gives a nice, relieving cooling effect when applied to sun burn. It absorbs quickly into your skin. I always hope i wont need to use anything like this but on the odd occasion i do get burnt, this is my go to
Tips: Store in fridge for extra cooling
Love the product, for the price and amount of quality I got I think it was totally well worth it. The gel has a nice cooling, rehydrating effect, which helped my skin feel refreshing. Love the product it is definitely well worth trying
I try to avoid getting burnt, but my skin is fair which means at least once a year I seem to get burnt without even trying.
Cancer Society's After Sun Gel is a great thing to have in the cupboard or in the fridge as a way to soothe and improve those burns. It instantly soothe the skin with its cooling gel, it also seems to reduce irritation and I swear then skin heals faster too. But that could just be me imagining things.
But it really is a great product for soothing and hydrating the skin.
Packaging-wise it comes in a tube that makes the product easy to get out and is easy to store. The packaging also looks soothing which adds to its appeal from a marketing point of view.
Tips: You don't have to be burnt to use it, it can also calm down other skin irritations or just cool down overheated skin.
I am the type of pale where I am both translucent and reflective. I have to take sunscreen with me wherever I go in summer or I will go redder than a tomato. So the times that I get burnt, I will stick this in the fridge and apply at least twice a day. The relief is amazing, and it doesn't sting at all! I find that my burns don't blister as often and that they heal quicker. Highly recommend!
Tips: Stick it in the fridge, or freeze in a ice cube tray and rub over badly burnt areas.
Must have for anyone who gets really badly burnt! cools and soothes sunburn so well. Applies really nice, doesn't feel oily or sticky. Can be a bit tacky on the skin but still works really well.
Got some of this last summer when I discovered that Solacaine no longer exists. That wonderful cold stuff in a spray can, it soothed all burns and itches. Why it's gone, I don't know, but this stuff from Cancer Society is a pretty good alternative.
Keep it in the fridge for maximum chill factor, and funtimes - the squeals are much louder from the person you put it on to!
It forms a layer on top of the skin & soothes instantly. You can wash it off if required, as it is a bit sticky when wetted later.
Tips: Keep in fridge
i went out for a walk on the beach with my dogs on a cloudy overcast day a few weeks ago but still managed to get a bit burnt and this gel is amazing at healing, hydrating and instantly soothing painful sunburn!
Tips: Lather it!
