Tips: Not only can this be used for after sun, but it is great to use on bites, stings, prickles. Keeping it in the fridge keeps it nice and cool, soothing any sunburn instantly.
Used this when I was in holiday on myself and children. It definitely took the sting away and soothed the skin whilst moisturising. Only downside was that you had to apply multiple times as sunburn sting came back quickly. Skin did not peel due to using this product so that was good.
Tips: Apply more than once.
After Sun Gel is a must-have for sun lovers! It soothes and cools sunburned skin instantly, providing relief and hydration. The lightweight formula absorbs quickly without feeling greasy, leaving the skin refreshed and rejuvenated. Highly recommended for anyone looking to care for their skin after a day in the sun!
I am the type of pale where I am both translucent and reflective. I have to take sunscreen with me wherever I go in summer or I will go redder than a tomato. So the times that I get burnt, I will stick this in the fridge and apply at least twice a day. The relief is amazing, and it doesn't sting at all! I find that my burns don't blister as often and that they heal quicker. Highly recommend!
Tips: Stick it in the fridge, or freeze in a ice cube tray and rub over badly burnt areas.
I can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet, it's been a holy grail for years!
This is my savior whenever I get sunburnt or when I can feel a surnburn starting to come on. I burn extremely easily because of my light skin and also no matter how much sunscreen I apply my face is extra sensitive to the sun. And when I burn it's not just painful it also itches like hell. This is so soothing and majorly reduces the itching on my face.
My only complain about this would be how it smells slightly of alcohol and evaporates quite quickly. I don't like products that contain alcohol because I feel like they're bad for my skin and sucks the moisture out.
It's also a great price for a huge tube which lasts me a whole summer.
I am really pale so am usually very careful in the sun. Unfortunately every summer I get burnt at least once. I had been out and about in the sun and didn't realise how burnt I was until I got home.
It was quite painful so I popped down to the shop and saw this so decided to try it. It has a faint fresh scent and a thick gel consistency. It said to store in the fridge which I did, this made it feel so cooling when I applied.
It goes on smoothly and definitely soothes the sunburn, it takes away that horrible tight feeling. The best thing I loved about this was it stopped me peeling! The one thing I didn't like was that it left my skin feeling sticky which is a pet hate of mine. Overall it is great for sunburn and I will always have it in the fridge.
I like to keep mine in the fridge after a long summers day out it’s refreshing and moisturising in the harsh NZ sun.
So nice to apply after a hot day and soothes sunburn skin. Had a nice scent. Really nice cooling effect and helps with sunburn
Tips: Keep it in the fridge
Honestly amazing for sunburn! Slightly sticky but what gel isn't? Great putting in the fridge, also doesn't make me break out if I use it on the face.
Tips: You don't need heaps
This is a welcome relief after you have that terrible feeling that you have burnt yourself in the sun! I have very fair skin so even when i am quite careful I can have the odd time that I get burnt. This feels so moisturising and cool on the skin. The cooling I find really important since the skin is still burning for some time. It is nice and thick so stays on the skin for a while, which I think is why it works so well. The only down side is that it is quite sticky and preferably it's probably best to not wear any clothes to get the full benefits. Also a little bit sticky and yuck if you do put clothes on.
Tips: Keep it in the fridge for extra cooling!
