Cancer Society After Sun Gel

This is my go-to whenever I'm sunburnt and in need of a gel to help soothe the heat and pain. It cools the skin upon contact leaving you feeling relieved instantly. It absorbs into the skin fast and doesn't leave any kind of residue behind. Depending on the severity of the sunburn it may need to be applied more often to keep the cooling sensation. Definitely on of my must-haves whenever summer comes around

In summer I have a naughty habit of not applying sunscreen to all areas of my body, mostly because I can't reach or I am too lazy (slaps hand). On one day in particular I remember being at the beach for five hours with out so much as a sun hat and one application of sunscreen. In between that five hours there were countless swims and shenanigans so of course the sunscreen would have worn off.

I get home to shower and trying to dry myself I yelp in pain from the bad sunburn I got as a souvenir OUCH!! My skin blistered it was that bad. I got the hubby to apply Cancer Soceity After Sun Gel and oohhhh the relief was almost instantaneous! It was like wearing a big cool blanket of relief. I applied this everyday, twice a day for five days. My skin felt less painful and usually I would peel but this time I just tanned.

I keep this in the fridge because it's not only great for sunburn but for minor burns and abrasions. It's great cooling effect is so refreshing and welcome. Despite the price I would buy it anyway to have on hand at all times. I learned a valuable lesson after that about wearing and reapplying sunscreen all the time even on cloudy days. I know that if it weren't for After Sun Gel my skin would have been a train wreck. It's a must have for anyone!

This is a staple in our medicine cabinet now. it is amazing as an after sun product and instantly cools and relieves sunburn. I also found it amazing for heat burns aswell and helps to heal them super quick and keep the air out so less pain!

I love this stuff. It is an absolute necessity in our household in the summer time. I remember a few times I have been badly burnt and it was so bad I had sunstroke. I applied this and it soothed it, next morning it was much better. It cools down the skin and makes it way more comfortable.

Oh my god this stuff feels amazing on sunburns. It is so relieving and incredibly cool against skin and I honestly don't know what I'd do without it.

Don't get burnt!! But if you do this stuff is great. I have sensitive and fair skin so sometimes if I'm caught out in the sun or even if I'm sun blocked up but I've been out in it a little longer than expected I use this. It's a good size at 150ml and easily dispensed. You only need to apply a small amount and it absorbs really nicely. I always have this in our first aid kit

I have used this product for YEARS!! It is soo so good. If I have got sunburn I lightly pat a layer of this product all over the red are..I dont rub it in, I just let my body naturally absorb it and let it sink in.

The product is in a squeezy tube, the tube stands on the lid so the product stays down by the lid. The product is a gel like texture and very soft. It is also very cooling. I keep mine in the fridge so its EXTRA cool when I need to use it.

I have never noticed this to have a smell. Would recomend this to everyone!!

Although I try every year not to get sunburnt I always do at some stage and this is the gel I use when that happens. I keep mine in the fridge so that when I put it on it is extra cooling and refreshing. It soaks into my skin quickly and gives instant relief. I have found that putting this on helps my sunburn to go away faster, as it really helps to take to heat out of it. This is a must have for me every year.

Despite my best efforts, I'll still get burnt. Love this product, it really does give instant relief. When kept in the fridge, it makes it even better at cooling, soothing and taking the sting out of a burn. I usually apply, let it sink in, and follow with another application 20 minutes or so later, to really kickstart the cooling and healing effects. This is a great product, doesn't seem to have a smell and is really pleasant to use.
