CeraVe Moisturising Lotion

I've been using the CeraVe Moisturising Lotion morning and night for a week on my body and have experienced some good results. The lotion is light and non-greasy with little to no fragrance and it absorbs into the skin quickly and effortlessly, leaving it smooth - my skin can be sensitive to creams with a lot of fragrance (particularly after shaving!), so the fragrance free formula is perfect and I had no stinging at all. I've had some dry patches on my forearms and these have now cleared after daily use. Equally, my hands have been very dry from sanitiser and this lotion seems to have helped a lot. The pump bottle means you can quickly get the lotion out and apply it where needed, which is perfect when you're in a rush in the mornings. I definitely think this lotion has helped to moisturise my skin, whether it has helped to restore the protective skin barrier, I'm not too sure. While it's not the best moisturiser I've ever used, it certainly has made a difference.

I found this to work really well. Used on my arms and legs after showering in the morning. Not a strong scent, so didn't overpower my perfume. I used again before bed and didn't need to re use during the day at all. Also liked the fact that it spread well, soaked in well and didn't leave a sticky residue on my hands after applying. My arms and legs feel ice, smooth and silky.

I am so happy with this product. Initially I found the packaging to be boring, and almost sterile looking. However don't judge a book by its cover. This stuff is awesome. It was so good to not have a scented moisturizer. It was easy to apply, didn't feel greasy and most definitely hydrated my skin. I even took it for a weekend away - and was stoked with the fact you could "close it" just by turning the head of the pump. No messy pushing it down to close. HUGE PLUS! Normally when the seasons change I get quite itchy legs, but I haven't this time and it is awesome!

I really enjoyed trying out this moisturising lotion! I really like lotions that aren't too thick but are still really moisturising, and this one really fit that bill. I enjoyed the consistency, it had a really faint, subtly scent, and left my skin feeling hydrated for hours. Definitely one I'll be repurchasing!

This is a light moisturiser but when you first put it on, it’s quite greasy and takes a bit to absorb. Tried different amount each time but it didn’t seem to matter. Used it on my feet which get really dry around this time of year but ended up using another product. My elbows also get dry so tried it on there and apart from the greasiness, it did work quite well

This product does exactly what it says it does and is exactly as described. I have previously tried and used this lotion on my toddler's (very) dry and eczema-prone skin interchangeably with their cream (which is more richer and thicker) to see if it would provide long-term relief, I moisterise her twice daily in the morning and night after a bath and feel that if you were to use this lotion on very dry skin, then you would need to be applying it more than twice daily or would need something stronger.

I think it is great for daily use as it is lightweight and quickly absorbed (if you don't use a lot, maybe just a pump or two). I do like the pump packaging and quick and easy to dispense, especially if the product is used on a toddler or younger child! Also excellent that it is able to be used on both face and body so don't need to get another product for the face! :)

Ok so I actually have really oily skin for being 41 . But what I’ve noticed is just because I have oily skin doesn’t mean it doesn’t need extra moisture.

There’s no scent , easy as one pump and smoother that face or body if yours. Yes I said smoother! You’ll thank me later haha.

It’s a soft but a quenching cream that does take a bit to smear into your skin but that’s good! Give yourself a little massage while your at , get the blood flowing.

My fave way to use the CeraVe Moisturising Lotion is to trap in my retinol , I also only add a couple drops of my L’Oréal Retinol to this lotion for that extra anti aging on my body . At my age you need it!

The lotion sinks in quickly and does not leave you feeling sticky or that yuck wet feeling.

My hands and arms always look plumped and moisturised which I love since my hands are looking like I’m 90 , not fun haha

Looooove this moisturising lotion. Love that It has no strong smells or greasy feels. It is easy to apply and easily absorbed. The packaging is great, the pump is nice and easy to use and dispenses a good amount in one pump. I found it very soothing and definitely made my legs feel smooth. I also tried it on my hands and arms and can say it’s a great all rounder. Would definitely recommend! It is now part of my daily routine

I started to use Cera Ve about 2 months ago as I have very thin dry scaly skin on my legs and very dry arms. I had read that it helped to restore the skin barrier and felt this would be good for me. It was only a few days after I started to use Cera Ve that I noticed a difference. The scaly look on my legs had disappeared and my skin felt softer. Rough spots on the back of my hands started to diminish and my arms were definitely less wrinkly for the day, great for summer when I wanted to wear sleeveless tops. The product was easy to apply and sunk in quickly almost as soon as I had applied it. Another great L'Oreal product.

I have mixed feelings about this product - but overall rate it. It states it is for face and body, and my biggest hesitation is around it's efficacy on my face.

As a body moisturiser, I think it is great. It is lightweight and easily applied, and definitely does a good job of moisturising my skin. It has the added bonus of containing ceramides and hyaluronic acid.

But even with these ingredients I did not feel it was quite nourishing enough for my face, not as a night lotion anyhow. It would be entirely suitable as a day moisturiser under make up but I prefer a lotion containing an SPF, which this does not. But if this does not bother you then it spreads evenly and easily and provides enough moisture to then apply make up with a glowy complexion underneath.

As a night lotion, it just didn't feel noursihing enough for me. But then again, I prefer a thicker heavier lotion for my now ageing complexion. If you have a more youthful complexion I would suspect this is a great choice, as it is lightweight and feels lovely to apply.

The packaging is rather low key and reflects the price tag, but it is certainly not offensive in any way. But similarly, not something that makes you feel this product is luxury.

The product's claims of being “lightweight, oil-free, fast absorbing, and non-greasy” ring true. The lotion is also fragrance free which is a bonus if you are sensitive to smells.

So overall this wasn't quite the product I was hoping for to nourish my face and neck, but it is a great lotion for the body, and for those seeking something lightweight and hydrating for more youthful complexions.
