I use this every day and I love it! It's ultra gentle on my skin, doesn't strip it of moisture and doesn't break me out. I use this as a pre-cleanse when I've been wearing makeup, but in the morning I use it on its own. I find the combo of this plus a foaming cleanser works well in the evening to remove all my makeup and give me clean skin.

Tips: I rub Cetaphil onto my dry unwashed face and then rinse off. It works so much better this way than if you splash your face with water and then apply.
i only use a quick make up remover aka if i did my makeup really bad and just wanted to start over. the cleansing is not so good and i still break out after using it.
I was first recommended this by my dermatologist for my acne prone skin. This plus prescribed medication helped clear my skin.
It's gentle and non drying, this is always my go to cleanser. It has no smell and I do enjoy using this product the only reason I change is because I get bored and love trying new products.
Tips: Add baking soda to a couple of squirts of cetaphil for a fantastic exfoliator :)
This is an excellent all around cleanser for very sensitive skin. I use this on all parts of my body part when they are extra sensitive. Especially on my lady parts.
It balances the PH which makes it perfect for your lady parts. Sorry for the TMI, but it that good! Also it leaves you feeling very fresh thru out the day.
It's also non drying which is very good for both your face and yes you name it lady parts. But I still recommend to moisturise your face as part of your daily routine. I believe Cetaphil does a moisturiser as well.
This is a lovely gentle cleanser, perfect for sensitive skin. It has a very thin consistency, which can slip through your fingers before you get a chance to apply it. However it applies very easily, and rubs in nicely leaving skin feeling noticably clean and refreshed. It is scent free and feels as though only gentle ingredients have been used rather than some cleansers which leave blemished skin feeling sore and exposed. I have been using it for about a month now and noticed visible inprovements in my acne!
Tips: Works really well with Cetaphil moisturiser - recommendad to me by a dermatologist!
After my second baby, my skin when out of control, I suffered from lots of big sore pimple on my cheeks. Being a woman of colour, I am prone to scaring. I had heard that Cetaphil was good cleanser for sensitive or problem skin. I purchased a small bottle. The consistency is cream like, and the smell is quite neutral, it doesn't lather, but cleans the face nicely without stripping the skin like a surfactant would, which means that my face didn't dry out. It helped my skin to balance out, and my breakouts came under control. A good product. Would recommend.
I love this cleanser so so much. When I was studying I began having a lot of breakouts due to stress, it was awful, I never was that spotty as a teenager so I had no clue what to do, and my skin is quite sensitive so any of the acne destroying face-washes usually just ended up making it worse. I use cetaphil twice a day in combination with a rosewater and witch hazel toner -$10 a bottle from the pharmacy and honestly the combination works better for me then a lot of high end products. My skin is completely clear and smooth now.
Tips: A lot of supermarkets sell this product now so you don't even have to make a special trip to the pharmacy or anything to buy it!
I first tried Cetaphil as a poor student, years ago, and I remember texting everyone to rave about it, to the point where friends were asking if I was being paid to promote the stuff (which I wasn't). A few years down the track, and I'd tried many new things, discovering what worked best for my skin as I age.
Just recently, after investing in a sonic cleansing brush, I needed something basic, with no bells or whistles or beads or anything, to use with it. And something that was easy on the budget too, because that month was tight. I picked up a value pump bottle of cetaphil from Farmers, and rekindled my love affair with this product.
It's very mild and gentle, and leaves the skin smooth and free of residue. It removes sweat, oil and foundation, but not eye makeup (wasn't expecting it to though, use oil for that!) It's great value for money, and not overly scented; in fact it barely smells at all.
Tips: Great with a sonic cleansing brush.
Despite being a gentle cleanser, the Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser contains sodium lauryl sulfate - one of the harshest surfactants around. If you're someone who is concerned about parabens, it also has 3 of the parabens on the "dirty dozen" list.
It doesn't clean off any make up or sunscreen. It feels gentle when I use it but my skin gets worse if I try to use it long term. It also leaves a filmy residue on my face.
There are much better options out there for cleansers that don't have such harmful ingredients and do a much better job cleaning your face.
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. If you have extremely sensitive skin, you're probably better off using water.
Tips: Try to find a cleanser that is better for your skin long term
I use my regular soap/face wash in the shower, but after I pat dry- I apply this on my face and my arms as it helps to counter my skin from drying out (I have dry, keratosis-pilaris affected arms.. boo!!) This really does help make my skin feel softer and suppler.
Tips: I also use this to wash my... ahem.. feminine area. It is fragrance free and pH-balanced; perfect for a healthy hoohaa.
