I got this as part of a very generous Clarins GWP. It’s not something I would ever choose for myself – I gravitate towards foaming cleansers, and I like them to be brightening or exfoliating.
The face wash itself is a pale mint green colour, which I find unusual. It’s quite a thick cream so can be hard to get out of the bottle. I find I need to bang it a few times to get it to come to the top of the bottle. Often too much comes out which is annoying, especially for such an expensive product.
After removing my makeup, I smooth this all over my face. It’s a cream cleanser so does not foam up. I like to massage it in for a few minutes before rinsing off with warm and then cool water.
I do feel like it leaves my skin clean. It’s very calming on the skin – I think it would be great for more sensitive or dry skins. I’m keen to try other Clarins cleansers as I have heard good things.
For reference, I have normal to oily skin that gets dehydrated and dry and flaky in the winter.
I am in love with Clarins, they have some really excellent products delivering great results.I use Clarins cleansing milk every day to remove my makeup. I have been using it constantly for 3 years and not looking to switch to anything else, I even have the travel size for holidays.I have a large bottle 400ml which has a pump, the product is light green and lotion like with a mild fragrance,a characteristic of clarins products which don't smell like artificial scents which I am a great fan. I take time to massage the milk on my face and cup my face to create suction which helps to withdraw dirt and makeup from the skin, then wash it off with a warm flannel, tone with a clarins toner and moisturise. This product helps to cleanse, without drying out and stripping the skin.It truly leaves the skin refreshed, soft and supply.Clarins is brand that I would trust any day and always continue to use.Highly recommend.
