Clarins Double Serum Complete Age Control Concentrate Review

I was searching for a new serum and as I adore Clarins products I thought I’d shell out $120 and try this. It comes in a clear plastic bottle which has a pump that delivers exactly the right amount in every squeeze. The serum itself is almost a dark honey colour and smells amazing!!!! It soaks into the skin quickly and leaves it feeling very soft. There are 2 sizes available and they’re both quite pricey but I can see why people love this product regardless. A little goes a long way and after using mine probably 30 times it has barely made a dent in the bottle. I’m not sure if I will purchase this again as I have definitely found similar products for less than half the price. Most Clarins counters will have a tester bottle so definitely try some on the back of your hand, I have oily/combination skin and this seemed to match it perfectly.

My previous forays into serums had been rather disappointing, so I had decided I was just expecting too much and just wasn't really a serum girl. This serum changed my mind.

This serum has two separate elements, one oily and the other a little more creamy. By keeping them in individual compartments, they don't mix until they are on your fingers, meaning you are pretty much applying two serums in one hit.

When I applied this to my face the texture was divine. It absorbed beautifully, leaving my face feeling silky and smooth, with none of the greasy feel or stickiness that can happen with serums. It felt like it was immediately nourishing my skin.

Did I notice a difference? I only tried a deluxe sample, so it wasn't enough time to make a clear difference.

Would I buy it again? I would love to but... at $130 for 30ml, I'm just not sure my face is worth it!

Should you buy it? If you have the money, it's a lovely lovely product!

This serum is in a pritty glass bottel and the colours just makea you wana buy it amd put it on right away.

Since it came out i wanted to try it and its gr8 its a runny liquid and just flows over your skin. It takes a while to absorb and is very ritch.

Its not a serum i use every night its way to rich i wouldent recomend this if you have oily skin.

All and all its a great serum it left my skon feeling soft smooth and to die for.

I received this as a free sample so haven't used to for a long period of time but I would definitely buy it. It is expensive so I would wait until on sale but it's on my list. I have really sensitive skin and it wss great in my skin. Hydrating and silky.

I upgraded my serum from Clarins Hydraquench to Clarins Double Serum last year on turning 30. I thought it was about time to get on to anti ageing products. I have always got compliments for looking younger than my age, in order to retain this look, anti ageing is a must especially when hitting 30.

This serum has impressed me beyond words. I noticed a difference in my skin within few weeks of application my skin looks more even-toned, firmer skin, no fine lines or pores. It not only keeps my skin well hydrated but also adds glow and brightens complexion.

Only complain about this product is it takes a while to absorb in to my skin as it has oil. Just couple drops of serum gives good coverage to my face and neck. I only apply it in the mornings as this product is definitely pricey. It lasts about 4 months for a 30ml bottle.

I will definitely buy this product again, I am already down with 3 bottles.

Me and my mum (ages 21 and 53) both started using this product at the same time, we were both SO impressed! After just a couple of uses the changes were obvious, we both had a glow in our skin and after a couple of weeks my mums wrinkles had noticeably reduced, a lot! My fine lines on my forehead were completely gone! As a flight attendant my skin takes a battering but i have found this miracle in a red bottle… We have both repurchased now multiple times and people ask my mum what she's done because she looks great! I highly rate this product! Perfect for all ages and you're never too young to start taking care of your skin!

First thing I love about this is the dual chambers the 2 are kept separate so that the plant extracts become active once the 2 meet I believe there are 20 plant extracts in the double serum. I love the idea of this because I always wonder if certain ingredients make other ingredients less effective if they are mixed with something else.. Anyway I digress...

The bottle is a round cylinder bottle with the two chambers. On one side you can see the serum through the see through brown plastic and the other side is frosted brown plastic so the packaging is fairly basic its not hideous just basic. But seriously I don't care because it's what's on the inside that counts.

When you pump the serum onto your palm you can see the clear serum and the brown/orange serum then you rub your palms together to mix it together then apply to your face. I use this morning and night and use 1.5 pumps in the morning and 2 pumps at night as I have dry skin. It absorbs so quickly and easily into my skin it has a slight orange scent nothing overpowering.

Now to the best bit. I have NEVER brought a product that I have loved AND noticed results as quickly as I have with this. I honestly cannot rave enough about the results so far. Instantly my skin looked healthy and hydrated by day 3 my skin was glowing and radiant I have honestly never had skin like this (except after a mask). By day 7 I have noticed the very fine lines around my eyes aren't as noticeable. By day 14 the deeper lines on my forehead have softened and don't look so deep. This is a seriously amazing serum if this is as far as the results go Im very happy but It claims after 4 weeks you will notice a difference in fine lines and wrinkles. I will update this post if I see more results. I'm completely blown away it's kind of a miracle for me. Yes it is on the dearer side ($115 for 30ml) but it is worth every cent

I went out on a limb a couple of months ago and shelled out for this product after I was given a sample. I don't think my skin has been in such good condition for many years! I was told to use it at night time, but the lovely Clarins lady admitted she used it morning and night. The serum is a rich honey colour, and the pump gives exactly the right amount so you don't feel like you are wasting it. It has a lovely fragrance as do most of the Clarins products. If you press it onto your skin as I was shown to do (don't massage it in), a little bit goes a long way. use after cleansing and toning, but before eye cream and night cream.
