This Cleanser has made me become friends with the skin again. I have been a wipes girl for the most part because I always found using a cream cleanser that you wash off always left my skin feeling tight. Not to mention the horrible water drips all over the neck. But when I tried this one I was converted. It goes on so easily to a damp face. The cleanser is a thick consistency but it feels very light, very much a mousse as described. It foams up nice & rich when rubbed in & then is easily washed off with water & your hands or a wet face cloth. My skin felt sooo smooth afterwards absolutely like a my baby sons bottom :)

Tips: Don't go overboard with the application. It may feel light but a little bit will foam right up.
i have been using the clarions skin care range for about two weeks and seriously it has made me love my skin again!!!! i have already recommended it to everybody i know haha
I found it a bit stripping on my skin and felt a bit dry and tight after using it so i think it was definitely the wrong cleanser for my skin type but is great for removing make up and felt very clean afterwards
Tips: Don't get it in your eyes! it stings! Make sure you have oily skin before using this, this is not for people who have normal to dry skin!
This cleanser was one of my first Clarins purchases, as I was keen to see if it came close to my favourite skincare brands Clinique and Estée Lauder.
Firstly, the packaging is like all of Clarins iconic packaging , it is in a white tube, with red writing. With Clarins I love the simplicity and style of its packaging and it looks like a high end product to me.
The cleanser is a rather thickish consistency and I use a little bit of water to massage this over my face, it foams up well and cleanses your makeup off effectively.
However, my dry /combination and somewhat sensitive skin felt rather tight after using this cleanser, so it was really not gentle enough for my skin type. It also slightly stung my eyes.
Afterwards, I felt like my skin wasn't as hydrated or nourished as it feels after my normal cleansers I use.
Overall, an average cleanser which I wouldn't rush to repurchase.
This cleanser is probably best suited to oily type skins and people who don't have sensitive skin like me.
Tips: If you have sensitive skin, best to give this cleanser a miss
Sadly this is a little harsh on my sensitive skin - it leaves ir with that tight, overdry feeling, like I need to use a whole tub of moisturizer on my face.
In saying that, it does the job really well, and cleanses with a thick foamy consistency. It's a decent price for a Clarins cleanser, with Clarins generally being one of the higher end brands, and if it suits your skin type I do think it would be worth it.
It takes foundation off easily and doesn't leave you feeling like you need to double cleanse.
Tips: Steer clear if you have dry or sensitive skin
I had heard good things about Clarins for sensitive skin, so I was very excited to try this. However, I was disappointed by the results.
The bottle is a clean white tube with a flip top cap, so easy to access and a little goes a long way. The texture is a lovely silky feeling.
BUT... and it's a big but, after a few days of use, my sensitive combination skin started to feel sensitive and sore. I tried to use a different face wash and come back to this one and it proved conclusively that this was the problem.
I hate to waste products, but this is a full size expensive product that I'll be passing on to someone else!
I have a travel size of this cleanser that I use on the odd occasion where i feel my skin needs a 'super' cleanse. A little goes a long way and it really foams up so it will last a long time.
It makes my skin feel really clean and smooth, however it is quite drying so I can't use this too often as my skin is on the drier side.
I don't often use foaming cleansers, but I decided to give this one a go as it was in a GWP. It's a soft foam, that it is effective for balancing out combination skin while also being gentle. I use this as my 2nd cleanse after a makeup balm, and don't see any makeup left on my pillow. A little goes a long way, and I was suprised how long even the trial size is lasting, I haven't been getting as many spots since using this. The only bug-bear I have is the smell. It's sort of a herbal type smell, and although it dissipates, while washing my face it just fills my nose. I'm not usually sensitive to smells, so I'm not sure what I don't like in this.
Tips: If you're sensitive to smells, try a friend's or try in store to see if you can deal with it.
The feel of this cleanser is lovely, it doesn't feel like it's drying out my skin like some cleansers make your face feel. I doesn't irritate my eyes if a little gets in & the smell is devine. It effectively removes all traces of makeup & leaves my doing feel cleansed & refreshed.
Tips: A little goes a long way so don't go overboard using too much.
I have been a long time user of Clarins products, and this is the first time I've tried their foaming cleanser as I wanted to use a cleanser that would be more suitable in the summer months with oily skin and dirt being outdoors…
Unfortunately this cleanser didn't do anything for me. In fact I have noticed that even in summer (where my skin becomes slightly more oily) my skin feels very drying and tight after wash. It has a nice smell and you can lather it up a lot in the shower, I guess this product would be better for people with oily skin. But for me, I would much prefer the Cleansing Milk as it is more subtle and kinder to my skin.
