This is my current moisturiser because I have oily, acne & break-out prone skin. I have to be super careful what I put on my skin, if it's too oily, it feels like I have to start the whole cleansing process off again, but it has to give me some moisturising after toning. I really like this one, although as you get near the end of the bottle you have to 'whack' it out into your hand. I do find it can be quite easy to squeeze out too much, but I just put it on my neck/chest or find somewhere to moisturise. It dries quite quickly and doesn't feel like you have anything on. I find it great to use under makeup (including primer). My only gripe is it doesn't last so long due to the small bottle size. They also have (or maybe used to have) this in an SPF15 as well, I find that one really hard to find but I prefer it as I like a little sunscreen just in case.

Tips: If the bottle is getting low, unscrew the lid and 'whack' it into the palm of your hand and you'll get some out.
I had a Clean and Clear kit which had a cleanser, toner, this and a spot treatment. I wasn't totally thrilled with the moisturizer. My skin did look amazing but I think that may have just been because it was the first time I'd had a set beauty routine (instead of just using a cleanser every night). I may try this again with my current skin care routine and see if it makes a difference.
Tips: Buy the kit if you can, even if you're disappointed with the moisturizer I think the kit will help you out a lot with keeping your skin clear.
I always have Clean & Clear Essential Moisturiser in my bathroom. It actually does what is says. Its really light on my face and doesnt clog up my pores. There is no greasiness at all and it smells really really nice. The price is unbeatable and I would recommend it to anyone on a budget who still wants to treat their skin to something nice.
When we used to stay at my nans, she would go through out toilet bags and make sure we had the basics. This was always one of them and its super awesome, super cheap too.
This was one of my first moisturisers I ever used, which was many years ago.
To try to tame breakouts, I started using the clean and clear set, cleanser and moisturiser. It's the perfect starter set for teenage skin. Myself and my two sisters also used this-all with good results!
The packaging is distinctive, in its white bottle and blue colours. It looks fun and funky, perfect for teenagers. It comes in a handy pump, which is convenient and hygienic.
The formula is light and feels nice on the skin. It was very effective in controlling my breakouts, and a great product for younger skin.
These days, my skin is dry and reactive, so this moisturiser isn't ideal for me. But I would definitely recommend it to those of you with teenage skin, which is prone to oiliness and breakouts.
Overall a great product at a very affordable price.
I grabbed this as I needed a moisturiser urgently & didn't have a lot of cash, this was on special for $8 (I think). I actually quite like it! It's nice & lightweight and absorbs quickly yet still adds moisture to my skin. I am prone to a bit of Acne & I couldn't say if this is helping or not as what I get is about the same. Smells neutral - not fragranced. A little goes a long way so will last a good time. I have this as my go to now when I'm in a hurry (which is most weekday mornings) as it absorbs quickly it means less time waiting to be able to put my make up on!
I believe that this was my first ever moisturiser – that seems like such a long time ago now! While I wouldn’t use it now, I do think it was a decent light moisturiser that could work well for some skin types.
The recurring theme with this product seems to be simple and lightweight. The bottle is plastic and compact, and mine had a squeezy top (although I see the one in the picture has a pump, which would be more convenient). The only real cons to the packaging are that it’s quite solid opaque plastic, so it’s pretty much impossible to see how much product is left, and it can be hard get the last bits out (although if you stand the bottle upside down it usually works).
The actual moisturiser is a white lotion-consistency, and spreads out quite thinly, so a little goes a long way. I found that if I applied too much the excess moisturiser took a while to soak in, so it’s best to start off with a small amount. It has a pleasant subtle fresh scent, and didn’t irritate my skin or cause breakouts.
The main reason I wouldn’t repurchase is that it really is just too lightweight for me. I have dry-combination skin, and this didn’t really help add extra moisture or prevent dry patches when my skin was quite dehydrated. If it was in good condition already it was alright, but in general I found I had to use a richer moisturiser quite often, otherwise my skin just felt dry and my makeup didn’t sit nicely on top.
This is really affordable, and I think that if you have a more oily skin-type this might actually be a great moisturiser. I also think it was a great first moisturiser to start out with, as it didn’t disturb my teen skin; however, as I said, I won’t personally be repurchasing this now that my skin has slightly different needs.
A really great moisturiser at a really great price. I use this every morning and sometimes when my skin needs it I use it as a night cream. I don't use a lot of creams as I have particularly sensitive skin on my face only so am very careful as to what goes on it. But this product makes my skin feel good and limits breakouts.
Definitely an affordable moisturizer but does not do justice to my combo skin. It does say it is for acne fighting skin, but i differ coz after a trial of 1 week, i had major breakout on my cheeks, which are drier than my t zone. I cannot recommend this product to any one with my skin type, but i have seen people having benefits from it. It does contain parabens, which give me red alert.
It's a basic affordable moisturiser, which is good, we need those. I've had this moisturiser for ages and the bottle is good quality, no signs of cracking and the pump top still works. So for bottle quality better than a lot of them. What was inside the bottle however was average smelling and an average moisturiser. It does however last well. I've had it a long time and it still can be felt on my face for a good length of the day. When I first got it mine was very runny, now its rather thick; not too sure about that. But as a basic, cheap, last you ages moisturiser it's perfect.
