The foam is so stripping on my skin, it leaves my skin feeling so tight and uncomfortable. It is over-drying.

I have sensitive dry skin, i have been searching for different kinds of facial cleansers for a while and this was one i insisted in trying, whilst applying i did love the scent. the gel texture. but it started to dry my skin out and became quite irritated. I refused to use after that and ended up giving away
I used this for about 2 years during highschool and regret it so much. It was so drying and left my skin feeling stripped of every natural oil. My face would feel so tight after use and I was naive thinking it was taking away the oil so I wouldn't get pimples. I didn't realise how drying and harsh it was until I tried a range of other products. Unfortunately I would rather not cleanse my face than ever use this product again - I don't recommend this at all :(
Tips: Maybe it's okay for people with extremely oily skin?? But definitely not for normal/dry/combo or sensitive skin,
My skin can be very fussy sometimes and is all over the show, I need something gentle but effective which isn't going to upset my face as it is sensitive.
I like foam cleansers, this has a pump which I think everything should have. It foams up nicely but it makes my face feel tingly and so dry and tight, so for my skin it was a big no no.
I suggest if you have sensitive skin to perhaps stay away from this as it is too harsh and strips the skin quite badly. There are definitely much more gentle foam cleaners out there.
I have combination skin and after using this my skin felt so dry and tight, i dont know what it means when it says "over drying" because that is literally what it did to my skin. I had to throw it out after using it three times because my skin could not handle it and i had to end up using twice as much moisturiser for my skin to even begin to feel normal again.
While it may have prevented some outbreaks, it couldn't fight them all. Not a very powerful face wash, I must say. And although I felt clean after using it, that's only because my face felt awfully tight. Perhaps it's not the best for combination type skin. I did enjoy the foam, however, because it's easier to spread than a gel etc. and washes off better.
I liked this product in that it definitely cleaned away all traces of oil from my face. But it also left it feeling stripped dry and tight. To be honest I don't really think it helped my acne at all as it just exacerbated the oil production. I have found gentler creamery products have been much better for my skin.
For me personally this doesn't work. I have terrible acne and scaring so I think for people who do, it want work either.
My mum who has clear skin uses this and it works great for her! I'm not sure if it is because she has more matured skin or because she has never had acne.
I want be purchasing this again and I don't recommend it to people who have bad acne and scarring like myself.
