I bought this product after i had used up all my advantage toner. I found that there was no difference from these two different ranges. I do have normal/combination skin and found that this toner also left my skin feeling hydrated.
Tips: Please do a skin allergy test as i have heard alot of people have a reaction to this product
So it does what it says, smoothes out your skin takes away that oil as i wash my face and then use this on a cotton ball and so much dirt comes off my pores. Although I only recommend this for acne prone skin. I think it dries out skin to much and if you don't get super oily skin or break out personally I don't think you need it.
Tips: use a tiny squirt on a cotton pad. Really word in around the forehead nose crease and check and chin. Use after washing your face then always use a moisturizer afterwards!
This has always been my go-to toner, it's the first one I ever used and the one I always come back to. While I haven't been able to use it much recently as my skin has been extremely dry and sensitive, I'm looking forward to using it again as it makes my skin feel great! Any makeup that I haven't been able to get off with makeup remover/cleanser comes off super easily with this so I feel a lot better when using this and it helps my moisturiser sink in much nicer. It also helps with my acne due to the salicylic acid in it.
I usually don't like to spend heaps of money on skincare, make up etc (us women need so much of it!!). This toner was at a good price point (under $10) so I thought I would try it. It was really nice. Easy to use and made my skin feel cleaner and fresher. I have added this to my regualar routine now and I'm loving it. :)
Tips: Use it with the makeup remover pads to ensure you don't waste product (cotton balls are useless for this). :)
I used this toner for a while (as part of the Clean & Clear 3-step process) and found this toner quite drying. I suspect it was the salicylic acid which might be acne-fighting but I didn't need it all over my face. It would be good if you had a lot of acne but even then I suspect there are better things to combat it. It may be better for young skin when there's so much oil floating around it wouldn't be a problem.
This toner wasn’t really a thought out buy, and while I finished the bottle I won’t rebuy. I had run out of my old toner and while toner isn’t a necessary step in a skin routine, I like using it to ensure I’ve got the last traces of makeup and cleanser off my skin at the end of the day. I also have oily and acne prone skin so I’m always on the lookout for products which will address these issues.
It didn’t clog my pores, but I didn’t see any noticeable positive changes in my skin while using this product. I don’t believe it prevented pimples like a spot treatment would - the inclusion of salicylic acid is too far down the list of ingredients to make any actual difference. Plus, the smell is quite chemically. One of the top products is alcohol so I think it was drying without really addressing my oil/acne problems.
While it did effectively wipe away the last traces of my makeup, I believe this can be done by any toner (preferably one without so much alcohol) for a more effective result.
I brought this toner as it was on special and i love it! I have a very oily face and it toke all the oil away but didn't dry out my face. I could see the difference in my face after using this for about two weeks. I used this in the morning and just before bed. I would recommend to anyone who has quite oily skin to use this!
This was the first toner I ever tried, and one I keep coming back to. It just seems to make my face feel the freshest out of all so far, without drying me out. Though be careful not to get it on any popped pimples, it stings! Though I did find when it was accidentally put onto a popped pimple, there was no evidence of said pimple the next day
I used this before I put my makeup on in the morning. I use it to make sure no dirt will be under my makeup. I don't know if it stops acne or helps. My skin/acne hasn't got better or worse
