Leaves skin clean but I do find it made my skin dry, I used this growing up also and I didn’t find it helped with acne back then.
It has a nice smell to it, it’s affordable and easy to find in store.
I used this before I put my makeup on in the morning. I use it to make sure no dirt will be under my makeup. I don't know if it stops acne or helps. My skin/acne hasn't got better or worse
This toner wasn’t really a thought out buy, and while I finished the bottle I won’t rebuy. I had run out of my old toner and while toner isn’t a necessary step in a skin routine, I like using it to ensure I’ve got the last traces of makeup and cleanser off my skin at the end of the day. I also have oily and acne prone skin so I’m always on the lookout for products which will address these issues.
It didn’t clog my pores, but I didn’t see any noticeable positive changes in my skin while using this product. I don’t believe it prevented pimples like a spot treatment would - the inclusion of salicylic acid is too far down the list of ingredients to make any actual difference. Plus, the smell is quite chemically. One of the top products is alcohol so I think it was drying without really addressing my oil/acne problems.
While it did effectively wipe away the last traces of my makeup, I believe this can be done by any toner (preferably one without so much alcohol) for a more effective result.
Well it didnt really work for me, you just go through it quite fast and its not worth how much you pay for it.
Tips: Not worth the money
I used to use this stuff when I was a teenager & decided to give it another go. Unfortunately it really burns my skin leaves it stinging & bright red. Terrible. I actually have to wash it off. If you have sensitive skin I really don't think this product will be suitable for you. It actually left flaky red patches like chemical burns do. Won't be buying it again.
I find the bottle shape slightly off putting maybe just cause not many of my products are shaped like that. I found the smell a bit overwhelming, it also dried my skin out a lot.
I wasn't really into the blue it makes me wonder what's in it that makes it that colour.
Would suggest a good started toner for someone wanting to get a basic skin care routine.
This toner dried out my skin soooo much. It was terrible. It put me off all toners for ages because of how tight and flakey my skin was after this. Now I always opt for alcohol free, moisturising toners.
Tips: If you use this, make sure you have an amazing moisturiser!
If you have sensitive skin, this is not for you! I bought this as a poor student thinking it would be a good, cheap toner. As soon as you open the bottle, it reeks of alcohol! It dried my skin out far too much and was very stingy around the eye area. I usually try to stick it out with my products but I definitely couldn't with this! I gave it to my flatmate who for some reason loves super harsh toners. It may have been more suitable if I had acne prone skin but my skin is fairly normal so definitely wasn't for me!
I used this toner for a while (as part of the Clean & Clear 3-step process) and found this toner quite drying. I suspect it was the salicylic acid which might be acne-fighting but I didn't need it all over my face. It would be good if you had a lot of acne but even then I suspect there are better things to combat it. It may be better for young skin when there's so much oil floating around it wouldn't be a problem.
