Not a strong point!

I purchased this towards the end of last year when I was looking for a great eye cream. I went for this one as I find clinique products to usually be very good and very gentle, which was exactly what I was looking for around the eye area.

It comes in a cute wee orange pot with a silver screw lid, matching a lot of their other packaging. The cream itself is a pale creamy/light orange colour and has no obvious smell.

This cream wasn't overly moisturising but definitely didn't wow me and I've since moved on to another product without quite finishing this up. It didn't have any detrimental effects it just didn't really make any difference.

I will not repurchase this item as it did not work for me. (I love some of their other eye products though!)

i like clinique brand and heard great reviews for this eye cream so i bought it from farmers. first of all i like little glass jar with silver lid on. its so cute. cream is just like little bit gel when you put on thats gives you cooling effect which i love it. great for summer according to my opinion. you can use under eye makeup. this cream didn't work for me. its says remove under eye circle and fine line so i had finished my whole jar but didn't see any kind of difference. my fine lines are there and dark circle too. cream consistency is not thick and very light .when you puts on doesn't feel heavy at all. i would like add another thing i prefer eye cream under my concealer because of my dry eyelid.but still fell dry on eyelid so that's means doesn't provide hydration for dry eyelid

Tips: good for tired eyes...but not for fine lines and dark circle.

I found the same, I wish it had helped my dark circles! I'd love to find a miracle cream for that.

Nice and lightweight formula

I just have a 4ml mini jar of this eye cream that I got in a Clinique giftpack. I find these packs are such a good way of trying out Clinique skincare since you can pick them up quite cheaply and unfortunately full priced skincare in this brand are usually quite expensive.

This mini is adorable and comes in a cute screwtop jar to mimic the full size version. Although this only has 4 mls of product in it, it's lasted me 3 to 4 weeks of using it twice a day. You really only need the tiniest amount as it is quite thin and spreads out easily. It is a light peachy colour in the jar but doesn't seem to have any colour on my skin. It looks thickish in the jar but it is thin when you touch it. There is no real scent to it, maybe a hint of just a 'skincare with no fragrance' smell. I really like how this absorbs quickly underneath my eyes. This is perfect for underneath makeup as you don't need to wait a long time for it to absorb. I would prefer to use something thicker at night but that is because my skin is dry. I don't have bag or puffing issues so I can't say if this works on that. I do have dark circles which sink in but I can't say I've seen any difference to them from using this cream.

I don't think this is for me. I like it for day use so I would use it if I bought it in another giftpack but I don't like it enough to uy a full size of it. I think this would be nice for someone who really wants something lightweight underneath their eyes. Maybe someone with oily skin would appreciate that? I'm just not sure if it really does much to help with any eye issues, like you would want it to work anyway.

Good for younger skin

I’ll start off by saying I’m 38! When I buy an eye cream I look for one that will help reduce fine lines. Although this cream is beautifully lightweight and sinks into the skin easily I just didn’t really notice a difference. I do have dark circles but they’re mainly caused by lack of sleep and not overly noticeable. This eye cream definitely helped to “de puff” a little but not enough for me to continue purchasing it. This would be an ideal product for those wanting to introduce an eye cream into their routine as it does nourish the under eye. Clinique (counters) will often give you a sample to try and I’d definitely recommend doing this as it’s not the cheapest cream on the market. It is lightweight, has almost no scent and does offer some moisturisation but just not what I need at this point in my life.

ah interesting, I was considering this as I have tried the moisture surge one and liked it, but I think i'll try something else based on your review. We're a similar age :) Thanks!

In the minority but I don't like it

The jar is pretty but that is the only positive for me about 'all about eyes'. Overall I tend to find Clinique great for cosmetics - they produce gorgeous textures and natural looking shades but I just cannot be a convert to their skincare range no matter how hard I try. I was fortunate to receive my jar as a gift but I would have been highly disappointed to fork out the money for this product and have such a poor performing product that my cheap $10 eye gel can out-perform every time. The consistency of this is a gel-crème it is semi-translucent and does feel nice when you put it on. No matter how little I use though it becomes a tacky residue once it dries down as if it doesn't sink in and it just sits there feeling gummy and tacky. It is horrendous to apply makeup over - concealer and foundation don't seem to sit well over it and that is not great. I can't even use it at night as the tacky feeling annoys me and it gives me milia (little white bumps) under the eyes from prolonged use. The next gripe I have with this product is that despite lack of fragrance and it's hypo-allergenic claims is that it makes my eyes sting and water. I am not getting it in my eyes but just having it around my eyes makes them sore. For me personally this product completely defeats the purpose of using an eye product and maybe I just have ultra sensitive skin but it was a huge disappointment for me and I am better just not using it at all.
