This is a nice toner, I bought it as part of the 3-step kit fro Clinique. It isn't anything completely fantastic, but it feels nice and doesn't irritate my (extremely) sensitive skin.

I bought the Anti-blemish cleanser, toner and moisturiser and was intending to use it on a daily basis as I have quite bumpy skin (no idea what it is! Not pimples but just lots of small bumps) and thought it might get rid of this. It didn't help with the bumps but did help with clearing any pimples. It is a bit too drying and harsh for everyday use for me but I use it whenever I get pimples and it clears them up pretty fast. The toner is quite chemically so I wouldn't recommend for sensitive skin.
Tips: Recommend for someone who has oily/acne prone skin or as a blemish clearer every now and then
This is way too harsh for my skin, and only irritated it further. I don't really have sensitive skin normally. It didn't really do anything for my acne either. Very disappointed overall.
This is powerful stuff, first time I used it and the cotton pad was black (after using Garnier Micelluar water) I dont think it was dirt just dead skin.
I use this once or twice a week as a chemical exfoliatant .
It is rather expensive as it seems largely just alcohol. Formula 10.06 seems to be a good dupe
Good product and keeps keep my skin under control.
I used the 3 step anti blemish solution system when I was 14-15 years old. My skin wasn't really bad but my nana was adamant I should try it to be more confident. The clarifying lotion is in my opinion, the most effective solution in the system. At the same time, this product would be nothing without the 1st and final steps as it really dried out my skin and was painful on any open cuts - most of the time I was unaware the skin on my face was broken until I applied the lotion. Apart from it stinging, the product definitely did it's job, it was quick and I have recommended it to a few of my friends already.
Hi guys, I have been using this product for 3 weeks now and I find it very gentle yet very aggressive in terms of cleansing the skin. I use their cleansing foam as well even after that when I use the lotion it cleans and leaves the pad with residue or dead skin making my skin very soft and oil free. would recommend it to people who are oil free and want to clean skin
Tips: best use this before sleeping and after using hot water making your pores big and be cleaned
I originally was a huge fan of the number 3 toner with clinique. However after my skin started going through a bad patch i decided to switch to the anti-blemish range and i have never looked back. This toner is amazing. I does have quite a harsh smell to it, but most toners seem to. I find that this works well at clearing up my skin however if used too often it can be quite drying. Despite having oily skin i find i can only use this once a day or every second day as it can start to really dry out my skin. I went away for a week and did not take this with me and i did notice that my skin started to break out a little so i would definitely advice to keep using this after you have seen an improvement in your skin.
I purchased this as part of Clinique's 3-Step system Anti Blemish which as suggested specifically targets acne-prone, oily skin. The 'Clarifying Lotion' is step 2 in the system, the 'toner', which I thought I'd spell out as initially the word 'lotion' to me suggested more of a moisturiser.
The product comes in a simplistic plastic bottle, which is standard format for most toners and I like as it allows you to see how much product you have left. Formula-wise the toner has an alcohol-y, chemical smell but it's not too overpowering or.off-putting.
I apply this after cleansing morning and night using a cotton pad. For an acne-treatment product I like that the formula doesn't sting my skin like others I have tried. While I wouldn't say it necessary 'unclogs pores' or by itself would 'reduce redness', I think it's a good toner for oily skin. After using it my skin felt clean but not overtight. Like all toners though it definately pays to moisturise afterwards.
I've been using this off and on over the last couple of years and so far it's the only toner I have ever repurchased, and I will continue to do so. Thumbs up from me!
Tips: If you're not sure if this is for you but you're after a complete skincare system, Clinique does starter packs that contain the cleanser, toner and moisturiser which are a pretty decent size and allows you to try them out to see if you like them, as Clinique is a bit pricer than some other available skincare brands.
It's a exfoliating toner that leaves your skin feeling smooth and squeaky clean. It is an excellent product and prevents future break outs.
Tips: Use with the other Anti Blemish products
I got this sample at the Clinique counter and my first impression was the scent! It just smelled so much of alcohol and this didn't improve when I applied it. I felt like I was just applying alcohol onto my skin. I have oily/combo, acne prone skin but I felt like this just irritated it even more, drying out my skin and making my T zone even oilier! It didn't reduce redness or excess oil, but I did feel that it might have unclogged pores as it felt like the surface layer of my skin was removed and stripped. Overall, it's too harsh and drying on my skin and I would not repurchase.
