Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Clinical Clearing Gel Reviews

I've been using Clinique's Anti-Blemish range off and on for a couple of years now and I'm a massive fan of everything I have tried so far, so when I heard their was a new kid in town that offered to help start clearing my blemishes 'instantly' I HAD to try it.

The packaging of the Clinical Clearing Gel matches perfectly with the rest of the range, which being a fan of matching products makes me very happy. The plastic bottle is a good compact size with a secure lid that won't pop off and make a mess. I found it really easy to dispense the right amount of product too.

The smell of the gel is your typical alcohol-y, chemical smell, which I expected anyway so I wasn't at all bothered by it. If you're gonna pump a 'clinical' product full of acne-fighting ingredients it's more than likely going to have a chemical smell. Now the formula of this gel is POWERFUL. I popped it on my skin after toning, waiting for it to dry before moisturising and it did sting. The next morning I really did see a visible reduction in the redness and size of my blemishes.

Because of how potent this is I chose to use it as a spot treatment rather than all over my face, I really didn't think that was necessary for me. I think this is a fantastic product and I will definately be repurchasing it.

I absolutely love this stuff. So much that I have one in my makeup bag, one in my bathroom and one stashed away. It is that good.

At the first sign of a blemish developing, I head straight for this and put it on the blemish. I find it most effective against those horrible ones that start very deep and feel painful. If I put some of this on early, it will take the blemish done and ensure that it never reaches the surface of my skin.

It does smell of ethanol and is quite drying, so I use it sparingly. It's the big guns of blemish treatment and if you struggle with deep painful blemishes you need to try this. It's that good.

I am a huge fan of the entire anti-blemishes range and this product is no different. I use this product as a spot treatment rather than all over my face as i find that it is very strong and i worry that it would dry my face out too much.

This works great on smaller pimples. I simply put it on after cleansing and toning before i go to bed and when i wake up in the morning i am always pleasantly surprised with how it can decreased the size and redness of the spot. I wouldnt recommend putting this on in the morning as sometimes i think i have gotten it all of my skin and then my make up starts to peel around my spot as i still have remnants of this on. Toner seems to work 100% at removing this gel however.

However if you suffer from larger cystic or hormonal acne this probably isnt the product for you as i have found that its only effective on above the skin spots.

I bought a small size of this and wow, I feel it really works, gets those pesky spots before they become an issue. It is a gel and it has a slight alcohol smell. This is a strong treatment so avoid the eye area. I place a little of this on the skin when I feel the telltale signs of a spot about to sprout. The earlier you can treat with this gel the better, as I feel it gets to the source of the irritant and deals with it really fast. I am really impressed with this gel, it can be pricey, but I feel its definitely well worth the expense. I have sensitive skin and I have not had a reaction to this product at all, highly reccommended

Noticeable difference over night from just one application. I apply it after my toner but before my serum (after waiting for it to dry of course). In the morning there is much less redness, pain and swelling and if I use a second night in a row its pretty much gone, just slight redness remaining.

It is strong and can sting, but that's to be expected of a product like this. I have bought some for my man too and he's been impressed. I hope Clinique don't discontinue this any time soon because its the only one I've found that hasn't given my sensitive skin chemical burns or caused any issues.

I breakout constantly and putting this on the worst of my breakouts legitimately makes them appear smaller, and less red within a few hours. However I will say that this does not sit well under makeup, so I use it either at night time, or on no makeup days.

Another great anti-blemish product from Clinique. So easy to use. I love that it is such a light, clear gel. Easy to squeeze out a little bit on your finger. Works and fast! So impressed. Does sting, but I like that, I know it works so the sting is soooo worth it.

This Clinique product really works! It’s a clear gel that stings a little bit but that’s how you know it works. Would recommend putting it on before going to bed. 9/10 would purchase again.

A little disappointed by this one. I used the complete Clinique anti blemish range for a few months including this product. It goes on well and a little goes a long way which is good. It absorbs quickly. It definitely did help dry out spots a little but nothing terribly impressive. I have particularly nasty stubborn adult acne so I'm still searching for the range that works best for my skin. This range overall definitely helped but I didn't notice a big difference between using the clearing gel vs just the basic cleanse/tone/moisturise system.

I am not sure if this product has helped with my acne, When i put it on my skin it burns quite bad and smells quite chemically.
