Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2 Review

I use this as my daily cleanser and I must say, I really, really like it. Despite what others might say about whether cleansers are really necessary, I think they are.

Your face wash will only get rid of so much.

I use this on a cotton swab and use long swiping motions working UP my face. The hairs on your face will still have product stuck under them once you've washed most of your make up off. So if you swipe up, instead of down, it'll get rid of the last little bits of gunk.

The smell is a little strong though, that's probably the only thing I don't like about it.

I love Clinique skincare and makeup. I have been using this for years, as well as the dramatically different moisturising lotion. The three step skincare is such a classic.

My skin tends to be dry in some places, yet normal in others- so clarifying lotion 2 is perfect for me.

After cleansing my face I then use this lotion on a cotton pad and gently swipe this over my face. It removes the excess makeup that my cleanser doesn't quite get.

The lotion has the consistency of water, I find that a little goes a long way. The smell can be a little strong, but its something I've definitely got used to!

I find using this does sweep away the old, dead skin. My moisturiser then skins in well and helps my makeup look better as well, by evening out my skin tone.

I will continue to repurchase this, it's such a great product.

I've been using this Clarifying lotion for a while now and am really liking it. At $29.90 a bottle I was hoping it was going to be good, but when you incorporate the size of the product in comparison to others on the market it's not that much more and a little does go a long way. I use this on a cotton pad after I wash my face to get any last little bits off and really like how it leaves my skin. This does have quite a strong smell to it that I really disliked at first but after a while you don't notice it so much, plus the end result is worth it. I expect that I will be buying this again in the future

I started using clinique and find that if I use it every day sometimes my skin is great and other times not good, it seems to go through stages. However I like this product it feels tingly on your skin which is good as it's getting the skin off. As my skin is quite sensitive it is sometimes a little stingy.

I love Clinique skincare and have been using their three step system for a couple of years now.

I apply this lotion with a cotton pad in between using their cleansing face wash and dramatically different gel. It does a good job of removing oil and dry skin as it claims and leaves my skin feeling a lot fresher after use. I sometimes do not use this product in between cleansing and moisturising and I find my skin to feel a lot oilier - especially around my nose - so I believe it is an imperative step in the three step system.

I originally thought Clinique's products seem overpriced but upon using them I can notice the difference to supermarket brands - they completely changed my skin type after using for a couple of weeks and I noticed a seriously clearer complexion. The bottles are quite large too so the product lasts a while - I find mine to last around 6 months.

I like that this toner feels like it's actually doing something. My skin felt tighter, cleaner and more fresh after using it. However sometimes I feel like it can be a little too strong and astringent and the first couple of times I used it it stung my skin a little bit. However I think it does a good job of cleaning and clearing out my skin.

This is honestly like angel tears in a bottle. Previous toners have always made my skin feel tight and drying this however feels amazing on drys fast but without the tight dryness that the toners with alcohol content seek to do. In conjunction with my Clinique cleanser and take the day off balm I now have such amazing skin and for The first time in years im proud to go out bare faced.

This is my favourite toner of all. I have used 4 400ml bottles already. I trialled it at Clinique counter that my makeup needed to be removed. This toner was the only product used on my skin to remove my makeup. Its dramatic function caught my eye straight away. I use it everyday for clarify my skin especially for removing makeup. I don't need to use makeup remover, one bottle of Clinique is enough. After wash, I'll put another layer on for toning function, followed by daily moisturiser. A big 400ml bottle costs about $50-60 but lasts for at least 6month. I'm also using variety of brands skin care along with it. There's no allergy at all.

I love this stuff! Its pricey but it does the job (and the bottle is huge! it lasts ages) my skin is really dry and this definitley helps minimise it, it also cleans deep and removes alot of makeup which i thought i had removed. it gives a fresh feel and doesnt make my face go tight, although sometimes it does sting my face, especially on some bits of acne, but i do find it makes my face super soft, moisturised and clean.

I'd gotten this as part of the '3-Step System' when I got my Sonic brush. I haven't really had any great love for toners, and I lumped this in the same category as a 'nice, but not need' product.

Boy was I surprised! This lotion is excellent - it has a very inoffensive scent (it doesn't smell like alcohol or overly strong). When you wipe it over your face, you're rewarded with a lovely, tingly feeling - it made me think of peppermint! That crisp, soothing kind of feeling.

After I've used it, my skin feels really... fresh is the only way I can think to describe it. Not tight or dry like toners I've tried in the past. Applying the moisturiser after using this step is just the icing on a really great cake.

I would absolutely use this again, and the price is very reasonable for the quality of the product. I do find that I go through it quite quickly is the only downside, but it is a great quality product.
