I purchased this initially for my day moisturiser but ended up using it as a night moisturiser as it is rather heavy and I don't have overly dry skin. I do like this for a night cream but it takes a while to absorb and leaves your face a bit oily for a while. It does last a long time for the price, I only need to use one pump to moisturise my whole face and it has lasted me ages! I use the gel as a day cream instead as I prefer to use a lighter moisturiser that absorbs quickly to do my makeup in the morning.
Tips: Perfect for dry skin or as a night cream but recommend the gel for oilier skin types or a day cream.
This moisturizer is always on the list of cult classics however, I personally feel it's extremely overrated. I find this moisturizer really oily and whenever I've used it I've ended up with clogged pores and really noticeable oily skin. My skin does tend to be on the oily side anyway so perhaps this is better for people with dry skin. This seems to be a product that really polarizes people - you either love it or hate it! At the end of the day, there are much better moisturizers out there for a lower price
I came across this when I was in my early 20's and now I'm near the end of my 40's. I have never had anyone guess my age. I've got from early 30's and sometimes even in my late 20's . I love the pump bottle. A little is all you need and it definitely goes a long way. I've got sensitive skin and because it's fragrant free it doesn't react. Have tried clarians but it gives me a headache from all the perfume. I love how it is light and doesn't feel heavy on my skin. Love this product. Can't imagine using anything else
Tips: Get the pump bottle. Makes it easier to apply and keeps the product clean
to be honest i was horrified for how much people pay to use this product, I received mine as a gift Thank god, I did find it being quite elegant and posh with its packaging, but compared to other moisturisers you can buy for max $15 at a supermarket I think i would just stick to that, as they both do the same job and this product isnt as great the texture is quite oily and just doesnt suite my skin needs
I have just recently started to use this product and i love it. It keeps my dry face moisturized throughout the day. This would be my new favorite moisturizer.
Received this as a gift a while back and been using it everyday ever since. It is quite pricy so I wouldn't normally buy it but It is incredibly moisturising.
The formula is really nice, it sinks into the skin straight away without feeling greasy.
Unfortunately I heard clinique test on animals so I won't be repurchasing this :(
This is a moisturiser I have used for a few years now and living at the beach I have tried a lot of moisturisers. It is a deep, rich texture that just slides into the skin and is not greasy.
Tips: Use daily :)
This is one of my favourite facial moisturisers. I have dry skin but can still break out or have oily days. This moisturiser is perfect for my skin, as it's adaptable. It moisturises without being heavy or greasy, and leaves my skin feelings soft, balanced and clean.
They've been making this moisturiser for decades and it appears they haven't changed the ingredients or packaging. It must have a loyal following, but I reckon moisturisers have come a long way ... it's think and yellow and expensive, and is supposed to be used with toner which people don't really do anymore - remember the old 3 step cleanse, tone, moisturise.. do they still sell that yellow cake of soap in a green container to wash your face? When I was 15 that was the pinnacle of luxury skin care to me :-)
Tips: If you aren't already a loyal user why would you?
