They've been making this moisturiser for decades and it appears they haven't changed the ingredients or packaging. It must have a loyal following, but I reckon moisturisers have come a long way ... it's think and yellow and expensive, and is supposed to be used with toner which people don't really do anymore - remember the old 3 step cleanse, tone, moisturise.. do they still sell that yellow cake of soap in a green container to wash your face? When I was 15 that was the pinnacle of luxury skin care to me :-)

Tips: If you aren't already a loyal user why would you?
Was recommended this when my skin was incredibly oily, I found this actually made my skin dry and tight and didn't moisturise it really at all. would use this if I was desperate but I wouldn't buy it.
I have quite dry skin and found that this made my skin feel smooth and moisturised without feeling too heavy for a while. I did find that I had to use a night cream at night while using it though as it didn't really seem to last that long. It has a pleasant scent and is very easy to rub in but for really dry skin its probably not quite "enough".
I used to use Clinique 3 step constantly, then I had the revelation of why would I pay up to $150 for moisturiser, toner and face wash. Since I stopped using it and switched to oil of olay and my own natural face scrub and toner I have noticed such a difference in my skin. I felt the clinique 3 step to dry out my skin and it didn't feel soft.
Tips: Not for me but might suit other people who can afford it!
This product is just not for me. I'm not sure if subconsciously it was the strange colour of the moisturiser that was a bit off putting. But I didn't like the smell and I found that it was a bit too watery and not as rich in texture and moisturisation that I would have wanted for an expensive/high end product. My mum likes it though, so luckily I could just regift it to her.
If you have dry and sensitive skin like me then this is not the moisturiser for you, its gel formula doesn't hydrate my skin as well as a cream so it feels like I haven't moisturised after about 10 mins of wearing. I ended up giving it away to a friend who I knew used it.
I used to use this a few years ago because I read alot of good reviews online and because I was using Clinique in attempt to clear up my acne. To me this is just like any other moisturizer, it made my skin nice and soft but it made no 'dramatic' difference to my skin. I really loved that it had a pump bottle which made it alot easier to get the product out but once you got to the last bit it got a bit harder because the bottle itself feels kinda hard so you can't squeeze it to try get the last bit. This moisturiser is very expensive and though it felt lovely applying it to my skin , I'll be sticking to a less expensive brand.
My daughter gave this to me after deciding that it wasn't for her.
This comes in a yellow squeezy tube that is made out of plastic. I don't plastic packaging because it makes the product smell like plastic.
It is a yellow cream that isn't thick but it isn't watery. When you apply it it doesn't feel like it has been fully absorbed into my skin and I found it quite greasy. I have dry skin.
Aside from the plastic scent I like that this is perfume free but that is all I like about it. I think it is overrated for its price tag.
Do you dry skin ladies ever put on moisturiser, and yes you like it to absorb in, but you still want to feel moisture, and smoothness, this didn't work for me, 5 minutes after applying, I felt really dry, I found I had to use so much of this to make my face feel somewhat "nourished" for the price I will not be repurchasing.
Tips: dry skin ladies, use 1/4 of the bottle per use, haha
Being a sufferer of combination skin, I'm always on the lookout for really good moisturisers. I can't say that this one will be a keeper.
I understand that there's a number of factors that can affect our skin, like the makeup we use and hair products, but I found my skin has not improved, or felt hydrated/less oily using this product.
I found it to be a watery consistency - which is up to par with their definition of a moisture "drink". It takes a while for it to settle into the skin - I'd say to give it about 5-10 mins before applying makeup. In the interim though, it feels almost like a gel - a sticky(ish) glaze on your face.
I've had no reactions to this product - my skin accepts it quite well. In saying that, I haven't noticed any difference! My skin isn't softer, smoother, nor improved in anyway. It is much the same as it's ever been. I figured for the price I paid, I could expect a healthier "dramatic" difference. It seems I've boarded the NOPE train.
It's certainly not something I would buy for myself again and its name sort of angers me a little... "Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturiser" - with a plus sign!! Sigh, I wish I could say it was true.
