I bought this as a 3 step set but this was the one product out of the three I probably wouldn't buy again unless it was on special, it's great and would be a great staple but for the price it is rather average. Pros - Mild - Kind on skin - No scent - A little goes a long way Cons - Expensive for a staple (although it does last for awhile) - Didn't "stand" out
Lovely bottle, and the wash lasts very long. I can’t say anything bad about this face wash, but I’ve found similar quality for much less.
This is average, I think there are better cleansers from the supermarket. This is expensive for what it is. It is great for sensitive skin, especially because it is has no fragrance or harsh chemicals. It is non-drying. Go for the mild liquid facial soap because it's easier for sensitive skin. It's good, but it's not my favourite.
Tips: Go with the soap with no alcohol- mild.
This facial soap is a great cleanser that removes all the dirt from your skin, while being gentle at the same time. It doesn't strip the natural oils off your face and it left my skin feeling quite soft afterwards. My face doesn't feel tight or dry. I Quebec sensitive skin too and found that I had no reactions while using this product.
The cleanser has a gel consistency and has a clear minty green tint to it. This cleanser foams up when you start to use it and allows you to spread it over your face. It's easy to rinse off and doesn't leave a residue on my skin.
The main thing I dislike about this cleanser is the smell. It has a chemical type smell and I prefer a more fresh scent.
This cleanser is quite pricy, as Clinique is a high end brand. It is a good cleanser but I'm not sure that I would pay $40 for this cleanser. It does last you a long time though. However I don't think I would get this again.
I acquired some of this as part of my 3 step system. I’ve spent a lot over the years at Clinique and have tried a lot of products wether full sized or part of gifts with purchase.
I like this. But I don’t love it. In my opinion is not worth the money. It cleans your face but it also cleans out your wallet.
It cleans really well and gets a nice small foam cleansing action going but not overly foamy.. just enough to feel like it’s lifting the dirt. It feels very similar to my garnier micellar gel to be honest.. maybe a little runnier.
It is hard to make the choice of which 3 step system is right for your skin I really struggled. So it’s not really an easy choice.
I love the bottle. Like a lot of cliniques products it’s elegant and pretty but not tacky looking. I think the pump I love the most. Its very easy and effective to use.
Lasts a long time and didn’t cause flare ups on my skin. Perhaps slightly drying so always quickly follow up with some moisture after using I do this with any cleanser though. Slight chemical scent but not offensive. Very fitting with what you would expect from a cleanser.
It’s good to use but I personally find the price off putting.
A great product, though on the pricey side! It didn't irritate my skin and doesn't have a smell which is great. The pump works well and lasts for ages.
I have tried the Clinique 3 step system in various stages of my life but no product from the line has performed as well for me as the Liquid Facial soap.
This is a relatively newcomer to the 3 step line-up (previously they just had their cleansing bars which don't work well with my skintype)and I have purchased a couple of these over the past few years in the Mild variant. This is a very effective foaming cleanser which is very gentle yet very good at removing eye makeup.
There is no fragrance. This is a slightly runny clear liquid 'soap' it is foaming when mixed with water but it is not dryingly foaming. The product comes in a lovely frosted pale Clinique green bottle with a handy pump top. It dispenses just the right amount of product for each application. It doesn't sting my eyes unlike other facial washes and it washes away cleanly with no residue. This is also very, very concentrated so you really get your money's worth - one bottle lasts me up to 8 months or so, so very economical for the $40 or so you pay for this product.
Overall, a great cleanser especially when I was slightly younger and had not so dry skin, but as I prefer cream cleansers and cold creams nowadays I am personally not likely to repurchase, however I could definitely still use this as a quick shower cleanser when required without compromising the condition of my skin.
Tips: Don't be put off by the price - this will last you a lot longer than some cheaper facial cleansers and could save you money in the long-run!
I bought this after trying a sample and being really impressed. It's a very basic cleanser, and has no obvious scent. It's a clear liquid that is quite runny and foams up easily. I use one pump and that is plenty. I use the dry combination formulation though my skin is oily combination, it gets extremely dry in winter.
This is pretty good value for money - you only need a small amount to foam up and wash your whole face.
I received this product in a Clinque goodie bag from a Shaaanxo event last year and have been using this product for the last month. This was a 50ml deluxe sample. Comes in a clear mint green upside down bottle. Which is great to get every last bit of product out. It doesn't really have a smell.
I have been using this in the mornings and don't think much of it. Easy to use, no skin reaction. Skin is clean, clear and soft. It does its job but seems very plain to me. I love products with a "wake up" scent in the morning.
