I already use the 3 step skin care. I have this also and use it at night as my night cream. It has really helped improve my very dry skin. It is also really nice to wear under make up as it isn't heavy and greasy. It leaves my skin feeling very soft and moisturised. Would highly recommend for anyone that has very dry skin like myself

This was very generously given to me by skingeek on here. Prior to her gifting this to me, I had never tried a Clinique product.
My skin is very dry and I am rather anal about using products on it to try to keep it from getting too dry. This sounded right up my alley - the words 'moisture surge' made my dry skin very excited haha.
I like to use this as a moisturiser in the morning before I apply my makeup. The consistency is like a gel and it has a light, fresh scent that is only just detectable. Only a small amount of this is needed to cover your whole face.
My skin absolutely drinks this in. After letting it sink in, my skin feels super hydrated and smooth. This is (unfortunately for my bank balance), the best moisturising product I have EVER used. If you have extremely dry skin I highly recommend trying this.
Even though it is super hydrating, it doesn't leave a film or sticky residue on your skin after applying. Your skin feels fresh and clean and youthful.
This is something that I am absolutely going to repurchase even though it is pricey. I believe skin care is the one item you should spend as much as you can if you find something that you really like. This is one of those products for me and I won't hesitate to purchase it.
Tips: If your skin is dry, you must give this a go.
I have extremely dry skin. I have used so many different types of moisturisers, from drug store brands to expensive brands from the beautician ( My partner didn't see that bill). This product has become my holy grail. A friend of mine recommended it to me. Luckily I work as a flight attendant so I get duty free. This product cost me $60 with a discount. I have a huge tub of it and it is the best thing to happen to my skin. After i put it on I feel instantly hydrated. I would find other moisturisers would feel heavy on my skin, like they were blocking my pores. This product leaves no oily residue, no caked on feeling and makes me feel wonderful. TRY IT!!!
I absolutely love this product. Although I have oily acne-prone skin, during the winter months, my skin gets dry and this has helped bring back the much needed hydration! my skin soaks this up and loves it. It's a great moisturiser and it does a great job at moisturising the skin.
Tips: Wait when Clinique does their gift with purchase of Clinique Bonus. I got two pots of this and it lasted a long time. A little goes a long way.
I wasn't sure what I was going to get with this till I started to use it, it has been out for over a decade I think.
This is a gel moisturiser, that has a pale peach colour to it. It is easy to use, just apply after cleansing, toning, serum routine. The gel felt light against my skin and I felt it moisturised well for me. I have normal skin but it is maturing slowly. While I normally use this as a standard moisturiser, there are instructions for using as a mask. I have used both morning and night. This absorption of this is normal, and the wet sheen dries quickly.
I do like this as a product and will look at repurchasing at some point if I can get it at bonus time as it is pricey. But I'm not sold on using it as a mask
This would have to be my least favourite of the Clinique range - and that's hard for me to say as I am a self confessed Clinique loving girl.
It does moisturise, but it just doesn't feel nice on for me. The cream / gel is very thick and more on the jelly side of gel than the cream side.
I find it leaves my skin tight, like when you have a peel of mask on, and it has a different odour to the majority of Clinique products.
I think the repairwear range does a better job than this one. It's also very pricey for not a very large pot.
Tips: Maybe better for younger skin
I got a couple of sample sachets in a Clinique Goodie Bag I received when I went to the Shaaanxo Clinique meet up event last year. However I just got around to using the samples in the last couple of weeks.
I really liked this product. It was a baby pink cream/gel like substance that was instantly absorbed in my skin. Skin felt so soft and hydrated, and looked so smooth. Probably my most favourite moisturiser I have used within the last year.
My primary reason for not purchasing the full size item is due to the animal testing status of the company. Which is such a shame as I liked the sample products so much that I would have paid the slightly expensive(to me) price for it.
Tips: 20 cent coin amount of product should be enough for face and neck.
I love, love, love this moisturizer. I use it night and day, it's moisturizing enough for nighttime but light weight enough for day time and under makeup. It leaves the skin very soft and smooth but hydrated and never greasy. When my tub runs out I will be running to the store for more, I love it that much! I never want to be without this moisturizer EVER
I use a harsh acne treatment on breakouts which tends to strip my skin of moisture. Combined with winter wind and exfoliation, I wanted a reliable moisturiser which wouldn't leave my skin feeling heavy and clogged. This definitely met those requirements!
I have combination skin, and I found that this gave a really even amount of hydration to my face. In the oily T-zone it didn't clog pores or feel extra greasy, which is always important if you're worried about makeup slipping in this area. I can definitely see myself using the product in summer when sweat gives an extra layer of yuckiness on the face.
The only small thing I found disappointing was that it didn't give intense hydration and moisture repair to the areas around my chin which are stripped when I use Benzac on pimples. But I should probably just stopping using Benzac I guess.... hmmmm....
Tips: Clinique is one of my fave brands. I use Moisture Surge in the morning followed by their Almost Powder light foundation for an easy and simple base.
This stuff is amazing. I mostly use it in winter when my skin is dry, particularly around my nose. It's a gorgeous gel texture, not heavy at all, and sinks in rapidly. My skin absolutely drinks this stuff up. I like to layer it with a serum at night for maximum hydration. It's expensive but a little goes a long way. A favourite and forever repurchase for me!
Tips: The other products in the Moisture Surge range are also worth a try - I particularly like the Overnight Mask
