I received a 60ml bottle of Clinique's Rinse-Off Eye Makeup as part of a Clinique GWP and it's been a great way to trial the product as I probably wouldn't have bought it first off myself.
The package is an aqua plastic bottle which showcases Clinique's classy, simplistic style and is practical to use. I use this specifically to remove my hard-to-budge eye makeup by applying a little to a cotton bud and dabbing at my eye to remove makeup (not rubbing!). It really is pretty quick and easy to remove even stubborn makeup with this.
The thing I like best about this product, other than the fact it delivers on it's claims, is the formula itself. It's unscented, water-like in consistency and appearance and doesn't sting my sometimes sensitive skin.
My only reason for marking this product down is the expense. Clinique is a high-end product but I find this eye makeup remover is pretty overpriced at $48 for 100ml, when micellar water does the same thing at much better value. If I received this product again I would definately use it, but I'm not tempted to purchase it for myself.
I really wanted to like this product because I really enjoy the Clinique moisturiser range, however I’m just not a fan. The product didn’t remove eye makeup (liner and mascara) as easily as I’d hoped and I found myself having to rub my eyes more than I liked, only to wake up the next morning with some slight makeup smudges still. For the price, I feel that there are much better cleansers out there (looking at you Garnier Micellar water!)
