Overall this is a brilliant cleanser - it removes makeup, doesn't dry out your skin and has an incredibly rich texture - super thick and creamy it's actually hard to squeeze it out of the tube - this makes it very economical and for the $45 or so you pay for this I would easily get 8-10 months of use out of one of these. Downfall for me is that this is incredibly stinging on my eyes, it might just be me as I have very sensitive eyes when it comes to cleansers but I cannot use it anymore for this reason. Quite often these come in a handy travel size with Clinique gift-times and they last a really long time due to the concentrated nature of the product. Otherwise a great cleanser!

This is great in that the teeniest bit turns into a super thick luxurious foam that feels great to work into your skin.
However, I find the smell completely overpowering (it has a very strong clinical/hospital smell) and it leaves my skin squeaky clean (not good). My skin feels absolutely stripped of moisture after using this and subsequently requires a heavy duty moisturiser.
I love a number of Clinique products, but I just cannot get along with this.
Tips: Avoid this if you have dry or normal skin - better for oilier skins.
My skin is combination, and I find this cleanser to be very gentle and removes all traces of make up. It's very creamy and I find I only need to use a little amount which easily spreads once it's mixed with water. It changes to a gentle foam, and easily applies to my face. I find it great for getting rid of foundation, but prefer to use a specific eye cleanser for my eye area.
One of the best cleanser that I have used. I must say when I got this I was a bit sceptical as my skin is really "choosy" when it comes to skin care. It made my skin feeling moist and fresh. Plus side? the make-up is easy to remove! Such a shame though for a 30 ml its a bit pricey for me.
I love this cleanser. I have very dry skin so trying to find a cleanser that doesn't dry it out even more is hard. I love this as it removes make up too without making my face feel tight after its been washed. It leaves my skin soft and smooth
A great cleanser which foams up nicely and removes all of my makeup. I have combination/oily skin which controls it well. I do however use Take the day off eye makeup remover as the cleanser stings my eyes. A great product for the rest of the face though.
If you have read any of my other reviews for Clinique products you will know I'm probably one of their biggest fans! There skincare just seems to suit my skin type. Not to mention they are very effective and seem to be a leader in the products that they bring out. I can't say I've been disappointed in any Clinique products as yet!
So, as you can imagine I had high hopes for this cleanser I got in a gift with purchase promotion. I have already tried their take the day off balm and makeup remover, so it was very exciting to try this foaming cleanser.
The packaging is distinctively Clinique, in its stylish white tube, with green cap and Clinique emblazed over it. The packaging looks high end and classy.
The formula is white and creamy. I put a small amount in my hand and some water, it foams up well and you can easily massage your makeup away. It doesn't leave my skin tight and dry, like other cleansers can.
The cleanser is very effective in taking off long wearing foundation and stubborn makeup. I still tend to use a separate Clinique take the day off remover for my eyes, as the foaming cleanser slightly stung my eyes. But apart from that, this cleanser is lovely.
After cleansing my skin feels soft and supple. I love how this cleanser seems perfect for my dry, sometimes reactive skin.
Clinique have made another great product here, which I will definitely recommend and repurchase in the future.
Tips: This is a nice cleanser, but I still prefer my holy grail 'Clinique take the day off cleansing balm', because it does everything and there's no need for a separate eye makeup remover.
I used this a few times to make sure I wasn't having just a one-off bad experience.
The texture of this is quite creamy, and there's just something about it that makes it look 'silvery'. I can't explain it very well, but it's one of those 'shiny' products.
I washed my face with this and every time, my face felt really, really tight like someone was pulling on the skin. And then it made my nose go drier than the Sahara! It took a little bit to turn it in to a lather too, so not sure if that has something to do with it.
I guess my skin just doesn't like this product. Which is a shame, I liked that the smell wasn't that strong, but it's just not right for me.
This is my absolute favourite cleanser! It is so soft and silky and leaves my skin feeling amazing! Although it is a bit more expensive like most of the Clinique range I found that I only had to use the tiniest bit, about a pea size,to do my whole face and neck so I feel the price tag is somewhat justified. It has quite a thick texture but turns into a nice creamy lather not bubbly or foamy like a lot of cleansers so it moisturises really well. It doesn't leave my skin tight or dry, it's really moisturising. I have fairly normal skin so it doesn't leave my face oily but it might do for oily skin types.
Tips: Use alternately with a Clinique scrub for amazingly soft skin!
This is a cleanser I used to use in my daily routine (until about 2 months ago), so have had plenty of experience with it, and overall its a great product. It's quite pricey but definitely does remove make up and sunscreens like it claims I have somewhat sensitive skin and didn't have any problems with that. However its VERY strong acting, and only the smallest amount is needed. Because of this is very easy to use too much straight onto your face rather than foaming a small amount up in your hands, leaving my skin tight and dry. After a while I got the hang of the proportions, but have started trying other products to see if anything else works better for my skin type (oily T zone dry cheeks). In saying that though I still keep this in my shower to use in between new trial products and on days I feel like I need a good cleanse. Added bonus is that it lasts for months!
Tips: Not recommended for dry skin. Only need the smallest amount and foam it up in your fingers then apply to face.
