Clinique Smart Custom-Repair Serum comes in a beautiful sleek silver container topped with a most efficient pump and protected with a clear plastic lid. The serum itself was more like a liquid moisturiser in appearance, being creamy and faintly apricot in colour. Fragrance is delicious, clean, almost mesmerising.
A tiny morsel from the pump goes a long way, the serum soaks quickly into the skin and I did feel it was "nourishing" with no adverse reaction at all. Certainly the hydrated feel remained for a few hours.
I have a 10ml sample size of this which I've been using for the last almost 4 weeks. I generally enjoy Clinique products but this is something I'm glad I didn't splash out on with the full size.
The packaging of this is cute, but it's a mini so of course it's cute! It is a tall, thin pump bottle. The product comes out easily and it's nice not to have to dip my fingers in and spread bacteria around.
The actual product is a light pink and is a sort of gel cream consistency. It has a bit of a chemical smell but it's not very strong. I find this rubs into my face very easily, it doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky either. It doesn't dry my skin out but doesn't make my skin feel super hydrated either. I honestly haven't been able to notice any difference in my skin from using this. I don't see any less eye wrinkles, my skin texture hasn't improved and I definitely haven't noticed a glow! Maybe if I used this for longer I might notice something but it's so expensive that I wouldn't really want to try.
