I was delighted when I received the email saying that I had been selected for this trial (thanks BR!) as I would have gone out to purchase a tube if I hadn't anyways. The first thing I noticed was the simple exterior. The white and blue/green font complemented each other perfectly and I love the minimalistic feel about it. This product squeezes out easily too - yay! The scent is quite unique and I would call it just a 'natural' smell if that makes sense. Maybe faintly cucumber? The consistency is quite thick and definitely super hydrating! I did have to squeeze multiple times to get a sufficient amount of cream to cover my legs though. I didn't dare use it on my face as I have combination/oily skin that is prone to acne. I was afraid it would block pores and cause breakouts. This is perfect as a body moisturizer though!

Tips: Use as body moisturizer, not face!
This moisturiser is quick thick so I didn't like it so much for my body, but it is perfect for my hands. It's very moisturising and the 150 ml bottle will last a long time as a hand cream. I have eczema and it's great for that, oatmeal and manuka honey are fantastic ingredients and so soothing. The smell is a bit funny, kind of natural and herbal? But to be honest I would rather have that smell than useless added fragrances.
As always a little bit about my skin so you get the gist of what it'd working on. My skin is dry and very eczema prone. My skin is quite sensitive so o have to be quite picky with what products I use. The packaging for this moisturizer is pretty standard and I'd say typical of a product that has "a job to do". The smell isn't anything to rave about but isn't pungent in anyway. The texture is thick but very spreadable. It definately does have a cooling, soothing effect.a little goes a long way. It kept my skin feeling moisturized for a long time. Will most definatEly purchase again.
Tips: If your like me and use the dregs to moisturuse the face, I'd avoid doing that. Overloaded my face with moisture resulting in little teeny pimple things lol
This is a really nice, inoffensive moisturiser that gets the job done. It’s not particularly fancy or exciting, but, like the tagline says, “it works”.
The packaging is plain and easy to use, in a wide squeezy tube that stands up on the lid (which will be really useful for getting all the product out at the end). It’s quite a unisex type of packaging, and I imagine it would appeal to (or at least not offend, haha) the majority of people.
It comes out as a very thick type of creamy lotion that keeps its shape, so not runny at all. A little goes a long way, and it stays white until properly spread out/rubbed in, so it’s best not to apply too much. I find a 10 cent coin amount is enough for one leg/arm, and so it is quite an economical product to use – I don’t think I’ll be running out of it any time soon.
As this is hypoallergenic, and supposedly fragrance free, I was quite surprised to find it has a very distinct fresh cucumbery scent to it. Reading the ingredients list, it’s possible this is actually the natural aloe vera scent. For me it’s not an issue, as I’m not irritated by it and I don’t mind the scent in and of itself, but it’s maybe something to be aware of if you were getting this because you thought it was completely fragrance free.
Once rubbed in, I find this takes only a couple of minutes to properly absorb, so it’s not too long like some richer body moisturisers (looking at you, body shop body butters!). Once absorbed, my skin is left feeling really soft and definitely hydrated. I have found that this lasts all day with no problems, and I don’t have to reapply before my next shower. I have also found that my elbows and knees, which tend to get a bit dryer, especially in the winter, have been kept nice and soft and I haven’t that problem at all which is great!
Overall, I do like this, and I will continue to use it up. I probably wouldn’t repurchase it myself, as if I’m going to have a product that is in fact scented, I’d like to get one that has a scent I’m really keen on. However, it’s something that I would recommend to others, as it does work, and is good value for a reasonable price.
Tips: Don't use too much, or it will take forever to absorb properly - a little goes a long way.
At first glance this moisturiser seemed to me as being a genuine and modest product, which is where the appeal was in selecting it from the vault, also because it's natural and NZ made of course!
The packaging is basic, sturdy and practical, and tells you everything you would want to know about it.
This moisturiser is a rather thick white cream which smells distinctly of cucumber, clean and refreshing! It fully absorbs into the skin very quickly, leaving it feeling well hydrated and smooth.
I feel that this product has got only good things going for it although still I find it rather unremarkable as the packaging pretty much says it all, and speaks the truth!
I was lucky enough to pick this up in the beauty vault and was really excited to try this. It comes in a white bottle, with simple green and black font on it. It's a squeezy bottle and has the lid at the bottom so it's easy to get product out.
The product itself is of a thick, white consistency and smells of aloe vera, but it's quite fresh and pleasant - definitely not overpowering. Because it's so thick, it can leave a white residue for about 30 seconds after application, but this quickly sinks in and is absorbed.
I have used this as a face moisturiser. I have acne prone, oily/combo skin and this doesn't break me out or irritate my skin. It definitely hydrates and dries matte with a slight tackiness, so I also treat it as primer. I'll apply this, wait about 10 minutes, then apply my makeup on top.
I've also been loving it as hand cream - because it dries matte, it doesn't leave greasy, oily residue so if you're like me and hate having to sit around waiting for hand cream to sink in, this is fantastic because you can apply it, wait 30 seconds, then actually open a jar, or touch things without leaving residue behind. For a body moisturiser, it also works well enough, leaving my skin hydrated and smooth, though I still prefer my Aveeno moisturiser for my body.
It is slightly on the pricey side so I probably won't repurchase, however, it does work well enough and lives up to its claims. Also, a little goes a long way. It's been weeks after the beauty vault, and I've used this every single day but still have a lot left.
Tips: Use as hand cream - it absorbs so fast and doesn't leave greasy residue as many hand creams tend to do
When this was being advertised and trialled on BR I couldn't wait to read reviews. I find having dry yet sensitive skin can be a battle trying to find a suitable moisturiser that doesn't break me out and gives good, intense hydration. After researching, it was time for me to try this myself!
The packaging is super simple, modern and fresh looking. It's in a white tube, that is convenient and good for portability. I like the plain, no-fuss packaging which suits it's product inside. When I look at it, it does make me think of medical/dermatologist product.
The formula is white and quite thick. It's quite thicker than other facial moisturisers I've tried, but it feels nice and gentle on the skin and doesn't take too long to absorb.
I like the focus on natural, soothing products such as oatmeal and Cucumber oil, which are great for dry skin. The simpler the better when it comes to what I put on my face. The formula smells nice and refreshing, not overpowering in the slightest.
Although it is a nice gentle and soothing moisturiser I just don't find it as effective as my holy grail moisturiser in terms of hydration. However, I find this moisturiser so nice for my dry and eczema prone hands- it's the perfect hand moisturiser. It is gentle and so soothing, especially when I apply this regularly. It helps keep the awful cracks and dryness at bay.
Overall, a great and gentle moisturiser for those of us with sensitive and eczema-prone skins. Definitely give it a go!
A simple moisturizer with a very low fragrance. I find it lovely and hydrating and provides a sort of protection element comparable to barrier cream. The cream consistency is nice and thick but I find it takes a little bit of time to absorb into my skin. It leaves a slightly sticky residue on my skin. This is a nice soothing cream for anyone that suffers from eczema although it does sting a little.
I picked up the 150ml tube from the last beauty vault and it is HUGE. This cream lasts a long time which is awesome, you get great value for money with this product.
I have used this product pretty much everyday since it arrived. Pros -Perfect for my sensitive skin -I love that it comes in 2 sizes Cons -The smell! I really didn't like the cucumber like smell -It doesn't absorb into the skin very well and I found that when tested with my current moisturiser it didn't keep the moisture in that well.
Tips: Start off with a small amount (pea sized) and add more if needed. I found that it didn't absorb into my skin that quickly so start small or it will get messy.
I loved this product, my partner showed it to me and I love. We used it when we got out of the shower and it's great for a massage :)
