This is the best moisturiser I have come across. Yes it is expensive but I find for my oily skin that it still keeps me hydrated but I never get extra oily. It absorbs fast, it's light on the skin and can still add sunscreen and not feel weighed down on the skin.

Tips: Only need a small amount as it blends so easily!
This was a lovely moisturiser however, as with many of Dermalogica's products, the price had me questioning if it was really worth it. I have come across some really great moisturisers for my dry, sensitive skin which don't cost a fortune and are just as good as this Dermalogica cream. I would love to use this product more but wouldn't recommend it above another because the price is just silly.
I wouldn't say that this product is better than the majority of other moisturisers I have tried...in fact I actually prefer certain supermarket brands. It is soooo expensive however because it is so thin lasts a long time and contains some amazing ingredients.
I love Active moist as it has an oil control and hydrates at the same time. I find it the perfect balance for summer to keep excess oil at bay. In winter time my skin gets a little on the dry side so I switch up to skin smoothing cream which gives that extra moisture. I like that active moist is nice and light and doesn't leave my skin feeling tacky/sticky. I actually also like that it doesn't have an SPF as it means I can use it at night time aswell.
Tips: Use it day an night and add in an SPF during the day to protect your skin from burning.
I've been using this moisturiser for around 3 months and I find it really great. It's lightweight, but very moisturising at the same time - it's not greasy at all. My face is much softer now that it was previously - I don't get dry patches, and my skin is not shiny or greasy. The tube seems to last really well too, so if affordable in my opinion - I still have a lot left after using it for 3 months, and I plan to purchase it again when the tube I have runs out.
I started using this product 6 weeks ago (along with other Dermalogica products) and so far I am very satisfied. I have oily, pimple-prone skin that is also extremely sensitive and I have found that this product does not exacerbate any of these conditions.
This product has light, but creamy thin consistency and a little product goes a long way. active moist does not make my skin sting like other facial moisturisers have in the past, and also since I began using it the inflammation and redness on my face has reduced dramatically, and the eczema on my hairline has entirely disappeared. My oiliness has decreased slightly, but disappeared entirely. In turn to that, I also don't like the feeling or look of of dry, tight skin anyway.
I have been using it every morning and most nights (sometimes I use treatment products at night) and I have used hardly any of the 100ml bottle.
Despite the hefty price tag, I would mostly definitely recommend this moisturiser to others due to the results that I have seen. It is much better than any other 'oily skin' moisturiser I have used in the past.
I've found this moisturizer amazing for my oily skin It's been great really hydrating feels smooth and not greasy at all.
I used Dermalogica when I studied beauty therapy . Its light weight and gives a great amount of moisture to the skin. Its also great not just for your face but your body too. It's not glugy and thick and not heavily oily which is what a lot of people are wanting.
I would highly recommend Dermalogica to people :)
This moisturiser is and has been my favourite moisturiser for ages. i adore how light weight and non greasy it is while still giving my skin the moisture it needs. People have commented to me about the price but a little goes a really long way so i think its well price pointed
Tips: when applying moisturiser start at the decollitage and work your way up, your face doesnt end at your chin
It comes in a squeeze tube with a spin-off lid. The moisturiser’s consistency is quite wet and runny, sometimes I end up squeezing too much product on my hand.
I am amazed by the smell of this moisturiser. This is probably the only one Dermalogica product that smells so nice, so subtle and so natural.
It is a sheer, super light moisturiser. It makes me feel like I am not even wearing a moisturiser. I really enjoy the light-weight feeling and the matte finish.
When I apply this silky moisturiser on my dry skin, I can feel it glides on my skin beautifully. Yes it feels quite watery, wet (but not sticky) on my fingers and on my face. However, I was surprised at how fast it absorbs into my skin and how it lasts all day on my face. It does not leave my face looking shiny or feeling oily (it is oil-free). It is a very hydrating moisturiser. I only have to apply once in the morning, my skin is still hydrated and feeling replenished throughout the day.
I get dry patches around my cheeks, nose and forehead. This moisturiser has never irritated my skin.
Because of the texture and the consistency of this moisturiser, a little amount is enough to cover my entire face and a bottle seems to last for months. Less is more with this moisturiser!
After using this product for a month, I would say it definitely does what it claims. It does an excellent hydrating job, no greasy feeling, my skin definitely looks smoother and healthier.
Compared to other moisturisers in the market, this product is a bit expensive. Another downside of it is it does not have SPF. However, I would probably repurchase it again as I really like it (so does my husband) and it’s worth the money.
Because of its expensive price, I would only recommend it to friends and family who are willing to pay that much for a moisturiser.
Tips: Don't squeeze too hard, you end up with too much product on your hand.
