It comes in a squeeze tube with a spin-off lid. The moisturiser’s consistency is quite wet and runny, sometimes I end up squeezing too much product on my hand.
I am amazed by the smell of this moisturiser. This is probably the only one Dermalogica product that smells so nice, so subtle and so natural.
It is a sheer, super light moisturiser. It makes me feel like I am not even wearing a moisturiser. I really enjoy the light-weight feeling and the matte finish.
When I apply this silky moisturiser on my dry skin, I can feel it glides on my skin beautifully. Yes it feels quite watery, wet (but not sticky) on my fingers and on my face. However, I was surprised at how fast it absorbs into my skin and how it lasts all day on my face. It does not leave my face looking shiny or feeling oily (it is oil-free). It is a very hydrating moisturiser. I only have to apply once in the morning, my skin is still hydrated and feeling replenished throughout the day.
I get dry patches around my cheeks, nose and forehead. This moisturiser has never irritated my skin.
Because of the texture and the consistency of this moisturiser, a little amount is enough to cover my entire face and a bottle seems to last for months. Less is more with this moisturiser!
After using this product for a month, I would say it definitely does what it claims. It does an excellent hydrating job, no greasy feeling, my skin definitely looks smoother and healthier.
Compared to other moisturisers in the market, this product is a bit expensive. Another downside of it is it does not have SPF. However, I would probably repurchase it again as I really like it (so does my husband) and it’s worth the money.
Because of its expensive price, I would only recommend it to friends and family who are willing to pay that much for a moisturiser.
This was a lovely moisturiser however, as with many of Dermalogica's products, the price had me questioning if it was really worth it. I have come across some really great moisturisers for my dry, sensitive skin which don't cost a fortune and are just as good as this Dermalogica cream. I would love to use this product more but wouldn't recommend it above another because the price is just silly.
