I got this product in the “It’s All About You” Best Beauty Box Ever. It is the first Dermalogica product I’ve tried, so I was keen to start to learn a bit about the brand.
It is a travel size 15 ml tube with Dermalogica branding and a flip top. Easy to use, which I like.
The product is a reasonably thick white cream. It has a mild scent that is a cross between citrus and cardboard. I really don’t love it.
Once applied on the hands and nails, it absorbs very quickly and leaves a slightly waxy feel that I do like. My hands feel nice afterwards. I really like that it has vitamins and minerals in it.
The product is good but the smell is not. I love hand creams and use tons of them, so have tried many brands, and this one isn’t on top of the list unfortunately. The fact that the 15ml costs $15 is exorbitant and is probably the deciding factor for me. I have to say though, it certainly wouldn't stop me from trying other Dermalogica products, it is clearly a very high end brand.
I was lucky enough to receive a 15ml travel size tube of this in the ‘mother’s day’ BBBE I haven’t really tried any Dermalogica products before so I was excited to try it.
The small white tube is cute and is small enough to carry around (it would even fit in your pocket) the flip top lids shuts securely so no risk of it leaking out. The white cream is of a thickish consistency and absorbs into your skin so quickly and doesn’t leave any kind of residue. Afterwards my hands feel super silky soft, the softest I have ever felt my farm hands, it has to be the nicest hand cream I have ever used, it doesn’t have much of a scent it smells fresh but the scent disappears pretty quickly.
I haven’t had many uses from the small tube which was a bit of a downfall so I stalked the Dermalogica website to see the price for a full size tube and holy moly I think my heart stopped beating for a second $49 for 75ml tube. Eeeek that is a wee bit expensive but I think if you really wanted to treat your skin then go for it as you won’t be disappointed and I am still umming and ahhhing over purchasing a bigger tube myself.
