Not sure if it's just me, but I felt this was the most pointless thing ever! I felt as if it did nothing, and left an oily texture on my face (which I personally hate) then you have to wash your face again... you could totally just skip this step and just go straight to your cleanser.

Dermalogica Precleanse
Deep-cleansing oil melts impurities and make-up from skin.
Achieve ultra clean and healthy skin with the Double Cleanse regimen that begins with PreCleanse.
Thoroughly melt away layers of excess sebum (oil), sunscreen, waterproof make-up, environmental pollutants and residual products that build-up on skin throughout the day with skin fortifying Olive, Kukui and Apricot oils.
Add water to transform this hydrophilic (water-loving) formula into a milky emulsion that easily rinses debris from the skin's surface, allowing your prescribed Dermalogica Cleanser to penetrate even further for professional cleansing results.
Formulated with conditioning Rice Bran and Vitamin E oils, this gentle blend can be used around the eye area to even remove waterproof mascara. Offers a deep cleansing ideal for even the most oily skin conditions. Formulated without artificial fragrances and colors

Tips: Don't waste your money, but if you do get it, I suggest that you rub the product real well into your skin.
Pre cleanse is one of my favourites as it gives my skin the extra cleanse it needs. The apricot kernel oil softens my skin and takes off every scrap of make up - even on my eyes. It smells divine and I certainly notice when I'm not using it! It's $62 a bottle and in my eyes that's $62 well spent. As always with Dermalogica, a little bit goes a long way! About the size of a 10c coin should do the trick.
Tips: Apply onto a dry face and work it in for 30 seconds, wet hands and it will turn into a milky emulsion (so oily skin people, don't panic!) work back over the face and rinse off. I do it every night before I use my cleanser and my skin feels amazing.
This product is amazing. I have sensitive skin and with other products I've used it can leave my skin really dry or red due to the product being too harsh for my skin. I've never had any problem or concerns. It literally dissolves foundation and leaves you skin feeling so smoothe. My Mum is even hooked on these products! The product is expensive, but I do believe you pay for what you get, and this is a quality product.
Tips: A little goes a long way. Ensure your fingers and face are dry before applying the oil, massage oil into skin, then wet finger tips which create a milky type consistently.
This is by far the best precleanse I have used. It removes all makeup product from the skin. You do not need alot, rub it together with both hands then massage it all over the face. It has an oil consistency which softens the product on the skin. Add water to hands and it will become milky which then emulsifies the oils on the skin which softens it to make it easy and gentle to wash off with water. It is a bit more expensive than the standard makeup remover but it does not strip the skin or dry it out. The 66 ml bottle is $150 but will last a few months depending on how often you wear makeup. It has a herbal/plant- like smell, has no harmful ingredients at all. It's pure goodness for your skin.
Tips: It works best when used in conjunction with the dermalogica special cleansing gel, which is what I use it with because I have oily/combination skin. The cleanse removes any left over residue/dirt from the skin.
Adore this product! Precleanse is by far the best product to use to remove your makeup. You have to apply the oil to a dry face, give it a good massage into your skin then add water until it looks milky. If you have concerns for black heads around your nose area i find i will work it in for a little bit longer so the oil breaks down the blackheads. Great cleanser too if you are oily, helps to remove excess oil that could be troubling your skin.
Tips: This can be used for the eye area aswell but if you have slightly sensitive eyes i would avoid using too much or any at all a it does have a tendency to sting a little bit after.
So the idea is that it dissolves the day away before you actually cleanse your face to allow your cleanser to work better. It's a clear oil that smells lovely. I found it didn't remove my mascara which wasnt even waterproof. When you are wearing a full face of makeup I don't think it gets it all off but then maybe I've just packed on too much foundation? It does seem a little pointless to me and I haven't noticed any long term difference to my skin. I bought a huge bottle as it seemed more economical and I really, really wanted it to be the perfect product. I was really taken in and sold by the wording 'melt away layers' so i think I had over rated it before I had even really tried it. I still use it- mainly when I have sunscreen and makeup to remove, I hope it is helping the process but I can't honestly say it is fantastic. Good product but not great- don't skimp on groceries just to afford to buy it.
Tips: If you put too much on your eyes it can go in and everything gets blurry! It goes away and I haven't noticed that it stings.
Dermalogica is on the top of my list of most loved brands for skincare, as the products seem to work well for my sensitive, dry but sometimes combination skin.
I first used Dermalogica many many years ago, strayed to other brands but have now come back again to Dermalogica - and I'm so happy I have and my skin just feels the most moisturised and hydrated it has in a long time.
The packaging of this precleanse follows the iconic white/grey colours - stylish, sleek and simple. I really like the simplicity and modern look to their packaging.
A positive to me for this product and other Dermalogica ones is the fragrance free and lack of the nasty ingredients that can sometimes cause me reactions,
This precleanse is like an oil and I put a small amount onto my hand and spread it over my face. Adding a some water I massage this over my face and it changes to a different texture, quite milky in appearance. It takes off my makeup well, by dissolving it and is so gentle.
This is a really nice makeup remover and I follow it with another cleanser. The idea of double cleansing I totally agree with, as I want to ensure my face is totally clean and free of makeup.
A great product, that is a winner for me. It's gentle, feels lovely on my sensitive skin and is great quality.
I would definitely recommend this product and won't hesitate to repurchase.
Tips: I brought this from www.dermalogica.co.nz and have found online ordering great as it turns up quickly and you earn loyalty points with every shop.
Absolutely love this! It makes taking makeup off sooo much easier and leaves skin feeling smooth and nourished. It's a really gentle formula too so perfect on my sensitive skin. If I'm feeling lazy I will use this and then baby wipe or something and it does a really good job of removing makeup.
Tips: If my skin is feeling really dry I will put some of this on my face and leave to soak in for a while before cleansing etc. I find this helps keep skin moisturised
This product is amazing! I use this as my first cleanse to remove all my make up. At first I was a little worried as its an oil and I have oily skin but I gave it ago and now I am obsessed. In no way does this precleanse leave my skin oily, it leaves it soft, hydrated and clean. I find as its an oil it removes my makeup so fast I dont need to run or scrub too much which leaves my skin happy.
Tips: A little goes a long way as its an oil
Dermalogica precleanse is a super effective, easy to use make up remover. All I needed to do was poor a small amount of the oily product on to my finger tips, rub it into my face then rinse my finger tips under warm water and rub in to my face again. It will form milky coloured oil. Once my make up had been removed, I rinsed the product off with a wet face cloth.
Precleanse is an expensive product, but I believe it is worth the money. I have sensitive, oily, pimple-prone skin and I found it did not cause me to break out. I struggle to find products that do not break my skin out.
Precleanse only needs to be used when you're wearing make-up, and I don't wear make up everyday, so therefore the product lasts me a long time.
I would definitely recommend this product to others, but if you are using something that currently is working well for you it probably isn't worth spending over $80 on a make up remover
Tips: ensure that you use it with water
