I have purchased both the large size bottle and the convenient small size which is perfect for having in your handbag or for travel. Whilst it is great to have this waterless option for sanitising hands which was indeed refreshing and absorbed easily, I found that after using it for awhile my hands and nails became very dry and I had to keep applying more and more moisturiser to counter balance the effects. Eventually I had to stop using the Dettol Healthy Touch Hand Sanitiser Instant Refresh and focus on restoring my hands and nails with moisturiser. I probably won't buy this product again.

Hand sanitiser is fantastic! I don't know of anyone that doesn't use it to be honest! You don't need water, and it dries within seconds to leave you with clean hands, not only visibly but they genuinely feel clean too.
I love that the Dettol hand sanitiser had two different sizes of the bottles. A bigger pump one for at home and the smaller ones which are perfect for chucking in your bag or the car! The scent is nice too - a fresh scent. And it's not too overpowering which is great.
One thing I'd be wary of, is if you have sensitive skin. I sometimes get dermatitis on my fingers and the sanitiser aggravates it further because it does have the alcohol in it. But if you don't have any issues like that, it's a must buy!
I am completely smitten over by this product. I am extremely health conscious and I always carry this wherever I go. I keep a bottle of it in my room as well. I think I use this sanitiser about 3-4 times a day. I take a coin size amount in my palm and rub my hands until dry. My hands feel germ free and even moisturized after its application. Its true to its promise of being rinse free and non sticky as you don't feel the need to wash your hands with water or wipe with a tissue after using it. It has a mild fragrance which I really do like. It is like a viscous gel and thick in consistency. I like the small size 50 ml bottle which I think is very travel friendly and of the right size to slip in my handbag.
I am a firm believer in cleanliness so Dettol Healthy Touch Hand Sanitiser Instant Refresh is a must have in my household, my bag and in my car.
I can't tell you how many times I have found myself with no soap in public toilets or having something gross on my hands from the supermarket or on my sons hands from touching things he shouldn't. I use this to make sure that our hands are as clean as they can be when soap isn't an option.
I love the smell of Dettol products, they smell so clean and disinfected. They put my mind at ease when it comes to keeping my son's hands relatively germ free which as a mum is very important.
The only con for me is that it tends to dry our hands out and leave them cracking if we use excessively. In exchange for sanitized hands I would take dry hands any day. I will always be a believer and purchaser of Dettol Healthy Touch Hand Sanitiser Instant Refresh.
Tips: Keep in the car and bag for times out on the road when there may be no soap available.
This is one of my favorite hand santisers. I have this in my handbag at all times. It smells great and my favorite selling point is that it doesnt dry your hands out. I also find the price acceptable and its easy to purchase at any supermarket. Recommended!
This stuff is fantastic, so often you need to clean your hands but can't. This stuff was a life saver when stuck in a hospital bed.
A little goes a long way and unlike the cheaper brands your hands are not left with a sticky residue. Did I mention the refreshing fragrance?
I keep a bottle in car as when I take my dog to the beach after picking up poop and playing with other dogs I don't want to bring those germs into the car.
I was a fan of antibacterial handwash and sanitizers, until my hands got dry from using this to often. On the pros it's cheap, handy, easy to keep in your purse, doesn't feel sticky after you use it. However, my hands are already dry and sensitive and despite the claims that this moisturizes it didn't for me. A good hand sanitizer but just not the one for me and I wouldn't repurchase unless there's nothing better than this on the market.
Tips: Use only a little and if you are prone to dry hands but need to remove all the bacteria, due to sicknesses, etc. then try to rinse it off with water as that helps your hand not dry out as much and follow up with a hand cream or lotion.
I have this in the big bottle and the little bottle (which lives in my handbag) and I use this a lot. I find in winter when you tend to wash your hands a lot, this is actually preferable as it won't dry your hands out. It has a moisturising component so seems to combat the drying that alcohol seems to do, but still sanitizes. I use the big bottle to fill up the little bottle, and it's a handbag staple.
Tips: Don't squirt too much or you'll be rubbing your hands together for a loonnnng time
I have the small 50 ml which I keep in my purse, it is handy, and it means I can eat food without washing my hands when im out. Sometimes it's hard to find a bathroom.
Dettol is a trusted brand and it is the only brand I would buy hand sanitiser from. It is small and inexpensive and it makes a big difference to your health.
You only use a small squirt each time, so don't be fooled by the small size of the bottle
It also tells you if you have any cuts on your hands he he
I love this sanitiser. This is the brand we always buy in our household. We have brought both big and small bottles. The little I found is great for traveling specially with a baby so you know your hands are clean for them and the big bottle we use at home. I feel it helps keep the bugs from not spreading as when we know someone is sick we use more often. It smells nice and doesn't seem to dry out our hands like other products we have tried.
Tips: A little goes a long way!
