I have a 200ml pump pack in the kitchen. I find it rubs in quickly, has a pleasant fresh scent at first which dries away to leave barely any scent all. There is a slight chemical smell but it isn't very strong compared to other sanitisers. I prefer a sanitizer that doesn't have much fragrance, it just needs to do its job and go away basically so this one is great for that. Hands are not sticky at all. I didn't notice my hands moisturised but they don't feel striped and dry. I can't attest to its sanitising abilities but I have suggested it as a science project to the kids but no one has taken up on it yet. I don't use it very often but it is handy to have if needed. My grandparents survived fine without sanitizers so I don't think it's really a necessary item to have but if you do, this is the one to get.

I love having this around the house (and at work) for when I need to clean my hands but I'm not arounds a sink. The kids love using it sometimes too, calling it the "adult soap'
I have big pump bottle in our retail shop counter.I am dealing with lots of people during the day( some people have dirty hands) and I don't have time to go and wash my hand frequently that time this product save my time and keep me healthy. This product is abosurb quick so I don't have to wait till hand dry. Great stuff for busy people who don't have time to wash their hand.
We spent a bit of time in hospital when my 3rd child was born. We were on a ward that requires you to sanitize your hands frequently,to keep the germs at bay. Had to sanitise our hands walking in and out of a room and before picking our baby up.
Before going home I made the decision I wanted to continue to sanitise our hands along with washing them while at home so our little one didn't pick up any bugs.
The supermarkets have such a variety to pick from. My decision was simple. Growing up Dettol was a trusted brand in the house. Sterliser for our wounds, before dressing them. I knew this product kept bugs at bay and cleaned. So Dettol sanitiser was an easy pick.
This product comes in a 20ml pump bottle for around the house and office and 50ml mini bottles that can easily fit into your handbag for when you are out and about.
The sanitiser itself isn't very strong smelling, some have that really strong alcohol smell. This is very very very mild smelling. Absorbs quickly and easily rubbed in leaving no smell behind but a very refreshing feeling on your hands. It never fails to leave my hands feeling clean.
I easily trust this product too do its job. It was great after we were discharged from hospital for when we were dealing with our baby. And great for in between hand washes now :)
It's important too still wash your hands!!! But this is great for in between.
Really good for mums with little bubs! Good simple clean packaging. Formulation is non- sticky and feels clean unlike some other sanitisers. Convenient for in the handbag, nappy bag, changing station, car, bathroom... I always have a few scattered around so I am never without.
Fantastic product, especially with miss 6 wanting to eat after the playground or supermarket, also for if we have had to use public toilets. Dettol is such a great brand and I trust it. Great sizes too.
Tips: Keep 1 small bottle in the glove box of your car, your desk drawer at work and your handbag. Once I have used a small bottle I refill it from the large bottle.
Yum! I love sanitizer, makes you feel so fresh and so clean, clean and this one is the best of them all. Apple is such a yum flavour and smell, like anything apple flavoured, I know i'm going to love it! Thats all there is to it - Sanitizer + Apple Flavour = fucking magic!
Tips: have one at kitchen sink, bathroom sink and travel size for handbag. You will thank me xx
I have Dettol Healthy Touch Hand sanitizer sitting in my car. I used it daily because I am a sales rep and I spend lots of time in my car and it is there when I need it (some public bathrooms aren't that nice and I need to sanitize when I leave them). The pump makes it user friendly. It feels like I am applying water to my hands put I know that I am protected from germs after using this. I use it more often in 'flu season', especially after being in public places with lots of people.
Tips: Keep it in your car. Use it to prevent getting sick in "flu season".
I love this little bottle. Hand sanitisers are an excellent product to keep in your handbag for when you are forced to touch nasty things (eww public toilets!). This product can be bought in a wee purse-sized bottle and, unlike other brands, it doesn't smell icky!
This is definitely my preferred brand of hand sanitiser.
Dettol Healthy Touch Hand Sanitiser Instant Refresh is a great brand to go for if you want a brand you can touch. I have found other brands that are cheaper and smell nicer, but I come back to Dettol because I know it does the job properly.
I use both the mini bottles in my handbag to give my hands a quick clean on the go, but I also use the full sized pump at work and at home. In our house we actually refill our mini bottles so that we save on both money and plastic. Which also goes to show the little bottles are strong because I've had mine for quite a long time.
In terms of killing 99.9% or germs. Who really knows. But if a brand is going to do that, I think Dettol would be one of the most likely contenders.
The one thing I would like to see Dettol do is bring out some sweeter smelling hand sanitiser, I find for me it just smells like cleaning chemicals.
