Dove Facial Cleanser Deep Pure Review

As always, I usually get bored with my products and would often want to try a new product to see if I'd like it better.

I tried this one since it was on sale and I have always like Dove's body care products. It smells nice and gentle to your nose. It lathers well and get rids of my make up. My skin feels refreshed and smooth after use. It didn't dry me out or anything. It is great for daily use and good for those with sensitive skin as well. I have combination skin with dry patches at the side of my nose and by using this stuff, it has vanished.

I highly recommend this product.

What a bargain! I paid $5 for this from Pak N Save and to be honest I didn't expect much from this cleanser, boy I was wrong! I really like the scent it smells so fresh. It has a really thick consistency which I like, so a little goes a long way making the product last a long time. It lathered pretty well and left my skin feeling great. It also didn't dry my skin out which I was afraid of. I find that it is very hard to open and close the lid which is a shame tho. I purchased this as a back up cleanser but have found myself using this daily as I like it more than my Natio cleanser because I love the fresh scent.

I found this cleanser to work good for me. You only need a very small amount to work into your face, it really lathers up well and gets into your pores. Leaves my face feeling very fresh and clean. It doesn't dry my skin out too much but it feels a little bit tight afterwards. I would purchase again as it is a great price too.

I picked this up at the Warehouse because they had a special on this, something like 2 tubes for $8. I use this as part of my daily routine because I just feel naked without having something to wash my face with and it was there and it was on special, good. It has a creamy texture that you simply squeeze onto your finger and then mix into a lather in your hand, then wash your face with it. I do like that you only need a little pea sized amount to wash with and it lathers up nicely. This product cleans my face well and doesn't cause any irritation or redness on my sensitive skin either. Overall this is a great value product in packaging that lasts a good while.

i have oily skin and i love this foam wash very much ,it foams up very rich and nicely , it cleans pores very well and all the oiliness were gone ,it does not make my face feel super tight or dry after washing ,and it soothes the redness as well .

I purchased this from the supermarket to give it a try. I have sensitive skin and I thought this would be gentle enough. I love how creamy the formula is and its very affordable.

I have been using it for about 3 weeks now. I feel like it does give my skin a deep clean, however it leaves my skin feeling very tight which I don't like also sometimes it causes a bad skin reaction which can be very annoying. This may suit someone with normal skin. Anything other than sensitive. As I said previously it is quite creamy, gives a good deep cleanse, lasts for a long time and very affordable.

I decided to trial the Dove Facial cleanser deep pure mainly due to the price. This cleanser is really affordable (around $6.50 not on special) and it cleanses really well. The fluffy micro-puffs leave my skin feeling fresh and clean and I have not had as many breakouts since using this product (this may be due to age rather than the product). The cleanser itself is quite thick and creamy and foams up well so you do only need a small amount. the smell is not super great- a mix of a soap smell and something else quite cosmetic. I will continue to use this as I have not found any other products which are cheap and do as good of a job :)

When I do use face cleanser (about once a week, or if I feel extra), this is my go-to. I like applying it to my face as a lather. Have found that it does dry out my face in spots, but that is a normal issue for me anyway, and compared to other face washes I've tried this is the one that suits me best. Standard price for a standard, reliable product.

I bought this at Countdown when I ran out of y holy grail cleanser. (Michael Todd Honey and Oat)

The pros:

The packaging is nice and sleek, it has a good amount of product in it but because of how thin it is, it fits nicely into basically anything, making it great for travelling.

It lathers really nicely, it's not stripping and my face doesn't feel tight after using it.

There isn't much of a scent which is nice and a little does go a long way.

So onto the cons:

I have been using this for over 5 months now and I have not seen even the slightest improvement in terms of unclogging pores and giving my skin a "bounce".

I usually remove the bulk of my makeup off with a cleansing oil, olive oil, cleansing balm or makeup wipe but I got lazy one day and decided to use this cleanser to take it all off and it didn't work particularly well with my waterproof gel liner and mascara.

Also, if you are not careful, it does sting the eyes.

Overall, it's a good product but I don't think I'm going to rush out and buy it again when it runs out.

I don't love this cleanser, but at the same time, I don't hate it. It does a good job of cleaning my combination oily/normal face and doesn't break me out. I haven't noticed any long-term effects from using this product, positive or negative.

It is very thick and this is both good and bad. You only need a small amount to clean your whole face so a bottle lasts for ages, but the amount of times I have accidentally dropped my blob in the shower or sink before getting it on my face...

I would repurchase if it was on sale and I needed a cleanser quick, but I'd prefer to try some other products after giving this one a go.
