I was fortunate enough to win this product from Dr H. It is a nice moisturiser, but very rich and a bit too thick for what I usually like on my skin. The rose scent lasted a long time, so it wasn't my favourite as I don't like rose! It is a lovely product if you like a thick moisturiser, and love rose, but it is rather pricey.

Dr Hauschka Rose Day Cream
A true classic in the Dr. Hauschka range, Rose Day Cream captures the diverse powers of the rose to nurture and protect dry and sensitive skin, while soothing skin with a tendency toward redness and enlarged capillaries (couperose). Formulation: Precious extracts of rose petals, wild rose hips, marsh mallow and St. John’s wort balance and tone the skin. Shea butter, rose petal wax and avocado oil protect skin from drying. Rose Day Cream works to maintain the skin’s oil and moisture balance, offering nourishing care that reflects the balance of strength and delicateness embodied by the rose.
Reviews
First of all, this is a strange cream to apply. It looks a little like sunscreen at first and it is a thick consistency. The white colour disappears and your skin is left looking like you put an oil on it, rather than a cream. It is certainly hydrating, however for extremely dry skin (accutane) it just wasn't enough.
The issue I have with this product is that it claims to soothe redness, but had the opposite effect for me. At first my skin looked great after applying, but after a few hours it would go red. Ingredients such as limonene and linalool are the probable culprits. Given that this product specifically claims to be soothing for redness, this was a disappointment. Especially considering the price point. Aside from the redness, this product did look like it was good for the skin. Best way to describe it is that it looked "healthy" (when the redness wasn't there). If you have dry but not sensitive skin and you want a natural cream/oil that will hydrate and benefit your skin, this could be good for you. But for sensitive skin I would not recommend.
Tips: Due to the thick consistency, pat it in, don't rub.
This was far too rich and thick for me, it took forever to absorb into my skin and left it greasy and feeling clogged so I only use it sparingly and at night. Maybe if my skin was super dry I would like it more but I find it difficult to see how this kind of formula would absorb without looking shiny.
I was very excited to use Dr Hauschka products as I have heard rave reviews about the products.. I have to say I have been very disappointed as I had not extremely high - but pretty big expectations. Firstly I do not like the texture of this cream at all.. It is way too thick and is just very hard for the skin to absorb its also very oily on the skin and struggles to soak in. It didn't leave my skin feeling soft at all, rather oily!! I also don't like the smell. For a luxury product I expected better experiences. Wouldn't recommend at all!
Tips: I don't think this is worth the splurge.
This is quite possibly the worst product along with the cream cleanser in this range that I have ever used on my face. Everything smells amazing, beautiful packaging and lots of people even rave about the effects on their skin - but for me it lead to being on months of antibiotics to clear the skin infection it caused me.
Tips: Always patch test these natural products to test for a reaction first.
I tried this after receiving it in a goodie bag. Nice enough, bit after realizing the price I cannot say it would be worth it. Ofcourse it smelt great but as for results nothing really blew me away.
