Tips: Be careful with washing it off - you have to use either the Dr Hauschka sponge (which is awesome) or some kind of flannel to get it off, it won't come off with just water.
I have sensitive skin and acne prone skin, finding products that didn't cause me to break out in rashes or dry scaly skin was impossible (or so I thought). One day browsing through Farmers I saw the Dr Hauschka skin care range and decided to take home some samples of their cleansing milk to try. I was amazed with the results! I was able to cleanse and remove my make up in one step. The product was silky and smelled beautifully natural, it washed off with no residue left behind. My skin was left feeling wonderful, supple and soft. I have been using this product now for over 6 years and have not had any reaction to it, in fact my skin doesn't seem as sensitive as it used to be. I'm hooked and will never look back!
Tips: Use their melissa day cream and clarifying toner for the full package!
I love this cleanser but hate its price. The bottle is made of a thick glass with a gold coloured pump dispenser. The cleansing milk is thick and has a natural semi-sweet smell. It is really gentle and moisturising although not very effective at removing make-up, so best used after a make up remover.
Tips: Once the product is finished you can recycle and reuse the glass bottle and dispensing pump!
I was first introduced to Dr. Hauschka Soothing Cleansing Milk by my mom who was looking for a cleanser without all the harsh chemicals you see in so many. I LOVE this stuff! In fact I left it in the shower and when my husband took a shower he washed his face with it too, This product is now our household fav for the shower,
My sensitive skin has calmed down a lot since switching to Dr Hauschka, and this product been a big part of that. Very gentle. My skin is also more balanced and not overly oily, I believe this product has also helped with that - as it isn't stripping my skin. However, it doesn't double as a makeup remover like it claims. Using this in the shower leaves half my foundation behind. Micellar water is much cheaper and more effective for this. It also hasn't cleared up my acne. I've been using this and/or the Dr Hauschka cleansing cream for over a month with the facial toner and rose day cream light. It's been great for my skin sensitivity, and my skin is now much more balanced and not oily (though accutane would be the main reason for this) but the Dr Hauschka products haven't improved my acne at all. This is disappointing considering the high price.
Tips: Remove makeup with micellar water before cleansing
This is perhaps the most gentle, kind to your skin, face cleanser a person can use. It comes in an easy to use dispensing pump, the smell is gentle and soft, with natural ingredients to create the scent. The milky texture feels so luxuriously moisturising when being massaged onto the skin and it rinses off easily leaving behind a smooth veil of moisture, which for a dry skin type is heaven sent. While I don't have a dry skin, I am prone to dry patches because of my random bouts of eczema. A friend recommended I try her cleanser for a while, which was this one here and I loved it. It is pricier than usual, but well worth the spend. IT does come in a generous 145 ml bottle too, so when you think about it, its not that much more than other cleansers.
Tips: Not a great make up remover. Best used on a make up free skin. I used it in the mornings, without water. I used a tissue to remove excess cleanser, then follow with a softening pH balanced toner/ and a moisturiser.
